yea they nerfed them awhile ago, but it did not fix anythink all the semi auto spammer just went auto
The Semi-Auto nerf still to this day is one of the bigger mistakes that the game made.
Pre-Nerf, I was running LOTS of G43’s everywhere they existed because they were good enough for me.
I had FG42’s and the like, but I ran with this gun because in Berlin I had it at what? Level 5 I think?
And it gave me a good chance against late game players.
Post Nerf? I do still have some for nostalgia reasons, but the vast majority of my Arsenal is now FG’s. As many as I can get. I need to be competitive after all in this game and the removal of the ROF from the early guns made it necessary.
I had railed many times for this to be reverted, and offered dozens of options to help balance SF rifles while keeping them relevant in the game. But a lot of times good arguments and good ideas fall on deaf ears.
They did give early level players at least a chance. I know that if I started the game now, being completely new and had to go what, 20 levels before I could compete, it would be very iffy if I would stay.
The other change we need, is for the BA Buff that exists only in Stalingrad, to be ported over to all other campaigns. It might mitigate some of the entry level issues with new players.
What do you expect from Gaijin, they never admit their own mistakes or faults. It has been since war thunder
