Remake Medic = Make Necromancer out of him

Lets face it. Media in current form, doesnt work as Healer type class. For simple reason its inconvenient to pick up his healthpacks, he rarely every gets opportunity to heal anyone since TTK is quite swift in Enlisted, and thus acts just a soldier.

So lets change his mechanic to being able not to “heal” comrades, but recover dead allies bodies from battlefield. If a body is recently killed and has no critical damage - i.e. shot by tank etc. A medic has few options

  1. Set up a medic camp, pick up and carry a body back to the camp. Then the “ressurrected” soldier immidiately joins medic`s squad.
  2. Recover body where it is, without carrying it anywhere. In that case, Medic spends 5 seconds to make body disappear, but insead your team gains +respawn credit on assault/defence. So if enemy ignores enemy medics, medic can essentially recover the damage done by wiping few squads.

And offtopic, but add Spy/Intellegence class that can wear enemy uniform, pretend to be dead, capture and interrogate enemies to gain “intel” and show their positions on map.

Sounds interesting but crazy. I usually play as medic and I heal 5-20 guys through each game besides boxes. And Spy class was skewed proposed by me and other dudes in Russian section

It’s really crazy, besides I don’t think it will work, “Enlisted” is a fast game, so in taking a corpse to a medical camp, you’re going to take time and I don’t think anyone will take the time to do that, I think The best thing for the doctor to work is to give good reasons why I should heal my allies, either by giving an experience bonus for having healed so many allies, I think that way the doctors would have more relevance and obviously giving them a rifle and not a SMG.

medics are useful if your team isn’t suicide rushing also i don’t think a spy class could properly work since spies don’t normal operate on the front lines and don’t like getting shot out

Spyes operating in front line are called Saboteurs or Diversants/ diversionist

Exactly what I proposed

again usually not front line soldiers, now if we had larger maps then spies could work since we would have more down time between the action

I hope medics can take the initiative to throw medical bags to the wounded soldiers (most of them are bots)

First of all I would like to see changes which need to be obviously implemented:

  1. Quick chat option to call a medic or a medic box like you can ask for a rally point or an ammo crate.
  2. Implement rewards for the medic class at the end of the match, like we already have for all other classes.
  3. Give bot medics the possibility to heal/revive wounded soldiers automatically.
    3.1 In that case, let the player decide if they want this or not and if yes, implement the possibility to set your bot medics to passive (heal in a radius of 20m or certain area) or active (heal everything you can see, smell or feel)
  4. Make the medic box bigger so you can see it in the rubble.
  5. Make the medic box destroyable like the ammo crate and gain points.
  6. This goes for all constructions: Add a small and decent icon directly over the construction so that you can see the crates. Sometimes I lose my soldier because I am searching the ammo pouch shown on the mini map. Specially when the building has 3 floors. The game is fast paced so it is actually weird to spent actively time for the crates.
