Don’t waste your perk points; you’re only going to save a few hundreds of a second. And the perk costs 4 points. Just not worth it.

No, it doesn’t work well. Most weapons in this game have a 2 TO 3 second reload time; however, let’s use a 5 second reload time as an example:
If you max out the perk at 12% faster reload time for a weapon with a 5 second reload time you save .6 seconds—or roughly 1/2 second reload time. Is that really worth 8 perk points? You can’t even perceive the difference!
yes if I have reload every 3-4 seconds because I run out of ammo, which happens to most high fire rate weapons with less than 40 rounds.

I have read your comment, but I still find reload perk important for guns such as FG42 or Mp41(r).
Your belief has absolutely nothing to do with the truth or the facts. You are married to this belief with your emotions, which means it will be next to impossible for you to change your mind when facts are presented contrary to your belief. Here are the facts for the FG 42:
There is a 2.6 second reload time. If the reload perk is maxed out at 12%, you save roughly .3 seconds of time during the reload. That’s about 1/4 of a second. Your brain literally can’t even perceive the difference between the two different reload times because it’s negligible. You are literally wasting your perk points on this perk! However, because you FEEL that it helps you—even though I’ve demonstrated that it doesn’t—you will continue to use it. What you need to realize is that the developers have inserted many ridiculous functions into this game that have absolutely no use whatsoever—including some upgrades for weapons. For example, there are several machine guns that you shouldn’t upgrade past the first level. If you do, then you make the gun more unstable and less likely to hit your target. Many people will not listen to this fact and continue to upgrade those weapons up to the third level because they have no control over their emotions, and they FEEL that the upgrade is worth it.
Do whatever you want, but your thinking is flawed!

I have to reload 3-4 times during intense fights and in those scenarios I do need that .3 seconds which adds up to significant time that could be the difference between life and death.

You’re not calculating interest rates on your banking account. The effects of the reload time is NOT cumulative. If you reload 1000 times, you do not save 250 seconds (4.2 minutes) and believe you’ve saved a ton of time making the reload perk effective.
Here’s the question you should be asking: “Is the savings in time between 1 reload great enough to save my life so that I can finish killing the rest of the people in the room.” And the answer is NO! 1/4 of one second is not worth 8 perk points. It’s just not enough time to sway any fight in your favor. It’s a useless perk. You’re better off putting those points into something more useful—like reducing recoil to make your weapon more accurate.
For example, the vertical recoil of the FG 42 is 74. You can reduce that by roughly 30 points when the vertical recoil perk is maxed out, making your weapon much more accurate. This perk is much more useful than the reload perk.
The reload perk does make a difference, yes it could be better if you think its not effective dont select the perk. My MG 42 takes about 6 seconds to reload thats fast enough for an lmg i wish it was 4.5 seconds to reload stationary. As for rifles and other guns like pistols it does help. Yes its costing too much at 4 points per perk too steep could be cheaper.

Thats fair enough no need to get into people failed eductaion and bla bla. It has a little effect as i said. Its over priced. I agreed it could be cheaper. I finished school im sweet

Ahh well i agree that the reload perks over priced and the relaod time from the perk should be quicker. The problem people came to mention was the LMG’s could then be reloaded like an smg and what not so they didnt want it changed 
I already had a debate about this and said a proper trained soldier could reload an MG 42 in less than 5 seconds the community didnt want that. I think it takes 6.5 maybe 7 seconds.
