I was playing lone fighters the other day and I was laying under a dead tank to have some cover and hold the point and suddenly I get a regroup assist and I turn around and see 3 soldiers are stuck under the tank as if they have spawned standing under the tank and they couldn’t move. there was also no rally points anywhere near (the tank corpse was on the capture point so there couldn’t have been a rally point on the capture point) and I have received regroup assist many times before but I thought it was for getting close to your allies and forming like a group thing and never suspected it is for spawning AI bots near me.
It can technically make sense in the normal mode where like 70% of the soldiers are bots but why does it happen in lone fighters? I want to fight real players not some AI controlled bots.
because only AI can regroup on players.
players can only regroup onto other players if in a team squad.
( that is, in lone fighter )
i presume a decision made by DF for the gamemode.
