Regional debuff to characters

I was thinking what if you could get an effect from get hit that would affect you soldiers ability to fight. like why would you be able to Sprint if you’d got hit by 30.06 in the leg

If one of you legs get hit you can’t sprint

If your stomach gets hit or your lungs you get reduced stamina

If an arm gets hit you weapon sway increases

If your heart gets hit you bleed out and quickly lose heath and die

Along with this depending on the angle you get hit you can get more than one of these effects based on bullet trajectory

All of these effects will be removed when you use medkit

This will make the hp system more in-depth

Edit:
I am not talking about making it like Tarkov or anything that would be dumb

It would act more like symptoms to being shot

Feel free to expand on the idea or tell me if I am stupid and provide reasoning

might be overcomplicated for fast paced games

enlisted community would never agree on something like this

Do you dislike the idea

This is to simulative for the current Enlisted gameplay it can work with more slow-paced and coperative game but not with fast paced shooter like enlisted

Yes)

Could be maybe but it could work fine it is not like you have tons of different medical item that you would use for different ailments and your not going to be healing different body parts separately

i kinda like it, it’s a thing with vehicles already, so idk, maybe it would work, it’s up to devs to test it ultimately

Good idea on paper, but in practice most of the times I’d rather suicide and/or switch to a fresh soldier rather than waste time trying to keep fighting with a crippled one.

I don’t know if it would be that simulative for the game it is not giving you more steps all it would do is add more depth to the game

You would no need to fight on with the debuff it would go away when you use the medkit and I would imagine that most people heal anyway when they get hit

well if the bleed out time is like 3 seconds

while I miss this mechanic after playing RO2/RS/RS2, I don’t think this will be good for this type of arcade game, if anything it will be reducing your speed after you are hit and you have less than 3/4 of your HP, yes is a nice addition but I don’t think this will work on this game(maybe for hardcore difficulty but who knows)

Great so now the first half on my squad can be blown up and the survivors will now be cipped to death by the regular explosion spam…
TTK in enlisted already is pretty low so not sure why you need a add such an overly complicated system over refining such insignificant sytems as the merge.

It reminds me of Operation flashpoint and Arma. Personally, I like this idea.
Since they already move slower when wrapped in flames or stepping on barbed wire, it is reasonable to slow them down by shooting them in the leg.

But, I am inclined to wish that the stupid behavior of the AI be dealt with first rather than doing this.
No matter how realistic and cool the mechanism is, it is ruined by the bot acting like a moron.

I don’t know if I would call the health system insignificant

this idea could work, it would just have to be drastically simplified:

any leg injury = the camera shakes and the soldier is limping, he can still run tho

arm injury = recoil doubles, aim centering is crappier, melee is slower, (melee and pistol shooting will not be affected if the shooting/melee hand wasnt injured)

upper torso injury = fast bleeding, if not bandaged the soldier will die

lower torso injury = slow bleeding, if not bandaged the soldier will die

Press y to the next bot and run at the full speed, if the last one has speed debuff and you are out of heals and are not an engineer then press esc → suicide. This ain’t Tarkov or Stalker mate it will never work in game with so many players at same time, it will make capping points even more miserable if there are any tank/hmg mowing down your squad with his mg.

sounds like red orchestra 2
However, I still think it is not suitable for this game because this game has too much firepower.
After all, this place is filled with a large number of explosives, AI with weird accuracy at a distance, tanks and aircraft, not to mention the proliferation of automatic weapons and an awful lot of grenades, landmines, flamethrowers and heavy machine guns.
Such changes may make the game more boring
If you are crippled by these messy things before you see the enemy as soon as you are born, I think the game experience will not be very good.
