Regarding the use of special weapons

We all know that flamethrowers have been nerfed.
Rifle grenades will also be nerfed.
*I am not against these changes. I can understand the purpose of pushing these changes.
However, there is one thing that has not been considered.
Daily pass tasks: “Kill enemies with special weapons” and “Kill with throwing objects”
(ps: They are clear in words, but very vague and unstable in actual combat.)
I would like to ask everyone, how do you deal with this task when you get it?
Some people will argue that refresh!
But you use up all the available refresh times and then get this task?
Some people will say, wait until tomorrow!
So do you live in this game every day?

Let’s think about it from another angle.
In the past, we mainly completed tasks with infantry flamethrowers and rifle grenades.
So what about the future?
In the future, how much time and games will you need to devote to completing these old tasks?
When you concentrate on completing these tasks, are your contributions to the battle lower than before?
In the future, if in order to complete the mission and save time and games, will players be forced to use more anti-tank rifles to perform missions?
And will this behavior of encouraging/forcing players to deliberately use anti-tank rifles improve the effectiveness of killing enemy forces at the strategic and tactical level?
Will it cause more players to complain about teammates who are good at doing nothing and indulge in single-player missions?
Will it reduce the number of troops deployed by the attacking side on the front line? Will it reduce the number of players distributed in the BR3 stage?
Is it still a late realization, and will it take several months to discover and think about it?
Does the foresight of professionals exist?
Are there really expert positions for numerical analysis & balance?

I hope to see new changes related to this in the upcoming updates.
Rather than waiting for harm to happen and then thinking and discussing how to deal with it.

just grab a ptrs or type 97 anti-tank rifle and snipe people with it for that challenge lol, the type 97 anti tank rifle has nearly perfect accuracy, just horrible and blocky sights

also, just blowing a tank up with a panzerfaust and killing all of the crew inside also works for the challenge

TL;DR: cheap excuses to keep toxic game mechanics.

You can get special weapons kills by killing enemies with AT weapons, flamethrowers and mortars.

Noob tube nerf was long overdue. It was by far the most toxic infantry weapon in this game.
Anyway I would argue that pistols kills are far more difficult to get than special weapons kills and no one is complaining about that.

The nerfing of special weapons just cement the run n’ gun automatic meta.

What use is there for other weapons if they’ll just be nerfed?

I am not fond of the rifle grenade nerf, even if I do not run around with them.
I am not fond playing in BR 3, nor do I want to use them in higher BRs.

In fact, I see rifle grenades as largely inferior to automatic spam.

But this seems like a strange place to talk about the kill x with special weapon task.

Where’s the suggestion?

I don’t see how.

its pretty easy to just mow down a bunch of AI bots with a pistol, bonus points if you have an auto pistol like the yazikov smg or the mauser m712 or something with high capacity like the artillery luger

So you like to have more players in combat with anti-tank rifles and ineffective sniping to get the job done?
Iron Fist? Yes, it works well.
But most of the time I just see a group of players facing an enemy tank and just shooting with guns (some are marking), throwing grenades, detonating grenades or cocktails. They don’t even use TNT/AT mines/dynamite packs.

Very strange logic and out of context.
I said I agree and understand why it was nerfed.
I mentioned the suggestion to modify the old missions, which will lead to more camping behavior of marginal players in the game environment.
Another point, different players have different views on different mission difficulties, and I agree.
But pistols? It doesn’t require you to kill 30, you have a lot of automatic pistols, high-capacity pistols, it doesn’t require you to use Nagant revolvers, it doesn’t limit you to BR, or limit the use of soldier professions. When you need to complete 5/10 kills, you may only need to spend a little time switching to pistols and helping them when facing dying enemies.
But special weapon kills? It requires players to configure and use different weapons in different BRs, and players need to pay silver coins, experience and other things for this. They will waste a lot of time on detours, ambushes, waiting and air and ground shooting.
And most players don’t have 4~5 complete preset queues (each queue contains more than 4 troops) in one camp, or even more.

It’s simple enough that a player who just downloaded the game can get multiple pistols from the initial tank corps/aircraft corps (if it hasn’t been changed).
But anti-tank weapons? Flamethrowers? Mortars?
They are behind the wall for the player.

To a certain extent, yes.
So I mentioned that I don’t object and understand this nerf.
But what about the quest associated with it?
Originally, it only required 30 or more kills in 1~2 battles using rifle grenades.
And increase the chances of victory for your team. even noobs use rifle grenades

What about in the coming future?

Or this change does not exist in the text data.
So are you considering too little content?

Players don’t need to kill many enemies with pistols, and pistol missions require very few kills.
If a player kills 100 people in a battle, he only needs one-tenth to complete the mission.
But if he needs to complete special weapon kills, then it will be three-tenths.
But these special weapons will no longer have the attribute of “efficient”. They will be a burden.
