Regarding the new BP tank camos

Well the good news is that they really do work like tank camos, you go in the tank customization menu and pick the camo, this also means that your decals dont disappear from the tank.
On the downside, the decals on these tanks are bound to the camo so if you dislike the camo, you cant replace it and keep the decals like we could back in the day.

Also the new Tiger II H camo is trash, it barely has any red primer and the zimmermit hides most of it too. DF really should have removed the stupid zimmermit first.

Yeah, I like original camo more

no gold orders can longer do that.

because
 reasons that only DF knows.

to be fair, it was very rare seeing king tigers without zimmerit.

in enlisted case though,

it appears as if they applied the camouflage, and then the zimmerith later.

which normally, that wouldn’t have happened.

first the zimmerith was applied, and then the crew would spray on:

additional note:

the tank in question is:

which, uses the tri color camouflage:
R

that it’s actually present in the game:

yet:

which, as first glance, the decal shouldn’t be yellow.

as we know, the decals in the customization were the more historical ones ( green or red ).

the paint scheme on top of being
 all over the place
i don’t even know who decided to choose the colors. way washed and way off

because red wasn’t widely used up until last period of the war.
the very last year.

it looks more of a sand camouflage.

based on a detailed book too;
Front-Cover-600x800

the unit was formed in 1943, and fought mostly on the eastern front and fought till the end of the war in east prussia.

so they claim it’s historically based.

but if anything, it’s a netflix adaptation

but who cares i guess.

Not to mention in winter maps and you stand out due to camo
or vice versa
hope devs aware and discussing this.

If this camo were offered along side the other 250 gold camos, I doubt many folks would ever choose it.

I hate how they chose this camo out of all the options.

They really saw all these cool camo patterns and decided to pick dunkelgelb with couple poorly visible decals

This, again.

Before we start getting 2 new camos every month in the BP we NEED a skin-to-map linking system.

Driving around Ardennes in a sandy yellow Pz IV is pathetic by 2025 game standards.

the worst part is that we dont even know if DF considers this to be a problem at all, we heard zero feedback regarding any sort of improvement for vehicle customization.

Even things that were once promised like improved custom matches are still yet to see any improvement.

In fact, most of the road map has been completed, a few things that were recent confirmed by Major are still in works like soldier customization prices rebalance and ability to change soldiers voices.
But we dont really know more than this, we are yet to see a road map so its anyone guess what they are up to.

The last time James commented on it, he said there was no such thing planned. But that was quite a while ago (6-12 months, I honestly don’t have a good grasp on time).

But we know that devs are tryharding APC customization

Im not exactly sure what planning is like for DF but if they plan these kinds of “big” things at the start of the year or at least when they are finished with the previous road map than they could potentially add this to the to do list.

I also dont understand how is this so difficult for them, War Thunder has this feature, Im sure its not just copy pasting but the engine and code shouldnt be the problem, at least in theory.

Some war crime or SS tank?

Not SS and I found no info on war crimes.

the 505th heavy tank battalion was one of the wehermacht. mostly under Generalfeldmarschall Model.

( TL;DC, mostly on the eastern front. prominently in operation zitadel also known as “kursk battles”. )

so, not an ss one.

as it goes for their involvements regarding war crimes,
none that were mentioned. but Model was complicit for some of the SS units that did such atrocities under his command and some of the sectors was in ( mostly against soviet civis, and POW ).

Why does no one care about the fact that gold order tanks/skins have their decals only barely visible at all compared to regular decals? Like the numbers on the back or the turret of the Tiger II H
