Wait what? KV-1 have HEAT shell?
I don’t know there’s a HEAT shell for soviet 76mm.

Those heats are pretty trash anyway.

HEAT in the context of Enlisted means you have dual-purpose HE and AT capability.
You won’t need to switch shells when you see a relatively lighter-armored tank.

KV-1 is clearly outdated for BR4, just like Panzer IV H or Chi Nu. But I would like to remind everyone that not every tank has to be OP for its BR, so a stopgap kv-1 is fine.
If we really want a counter to Panther, we should add KV-85.

I just don’t see point in releasing new tank that’s going to be immediately trash for its own BR.
Completely wasted resources and development time.

compared to Germany and USA, USSR is still relatively empty so I dont mind so much, but its true that this tank could have been foldered with KV-1.

There is, it is the BP-353A, it can be used by several vehicles like SU-76M, T-34 (1942) and T-34E STZ.
