eh… only if you use it like a tnt.
aka, jumping on the roof, and shooting from the engine.
some tanks have weaker roofs than others.
but in my opinion, you’d be better off using tnts if you have to get close and personal.
it struggles less against apcs though and works just like the anti infantry one if you direct hit soldiers.
so it depends how you want to use it.
I tested it on the firing range but I discovered that it cannot penetrate T-34-85 anywhere at least from the ground level. I guess I need to get some elevation and shoot any tank engine bay from the top.

I’ve never found these AT GLs to be reliably effective against tanks. I just used them like a normal GL with the fact that they can be used by AT soldier.

From my experience, shooting only the lightest vehicles is somewhat reliable but it’s still not great.

GGP 40 is massively usefull on low tier
If You get into br 2 You can grind a Lot of XP
Because nothing Will stop You from doing it
Not Even tanks
But if You got in br 3-5 mmmm you can do
some decent stuff but… It would be more complicated because br 3-5 allied tanks are inmune to the GL so your Best options is to avoid it and kill the infantery by suprising them
By the looks of the comments in the thread, it seems about as effective as the M1 Garand’s AT nade. I loved bullying Puma’s with that thing…too bad I’ll almost never get that chance again…
