The last update adjusted the AVS’s visual recoil, and now it performs better than all other automatic rifles. I can achieve clean kills at over 100 meters with it. Other automatic rifles should be the same way.

Yep. They are too OP they should be borderline useless at full auto at medium distance.

SF rifles (all of them from every faction) should be nerfed to where full auto is only useful is close quarters or when using a bipod. They should honestly have worse recoil than a LMG because they are lighter and would kick much harder, it would give people a reason to consider semi auto rifles

AVS has the same visual recoil (0.3) as the other automatic rifles, so its as equal as it can be
Why should i be considering semi autos in BRV? Jesus christ quit trying to turn this into every other live service game where something good is there - nerfed

then you have everybody shooting pea shooters that shoot to the sky fair balanced and unenjoyable to play.
Oh but i suppose facing full auto rifleman is just sooooo much for you to handle.
Quit playing in BRV if you want to take it the direction of every other live service shooter primarily cod.

Except BR5 can face BR4 that can face BR3 that can face BR2 that can face BR1.
So no, it’s not only about BR5 as it affects balance of the whole game. And you can clearly see this when ppl make posts about buffs to SA rifles so they aren’t hopelessly outclassed by FS rifles. Then BA rifles will be outclassed by SA rifles and suddenly powercreep of BR5 causes issues on BR2-3.
There are only 2 solutions:
- nerf SF rifles (or at least stop further powercreep)
- separate all BRs
I agree with separating all BRs… i’m sick of me 410s and beaufighters, a20s taking up the vehicle slot.
And now since you mention it sick of the people who will WILLINGLY put theirselves at a disadvantage from playing the placebo that is BRIV then make posts like this because they’re being outclassed. Well duh, you’re playing with ZH-29s in a BR bracket with FG-42s and T20s.
the t20, hei automatic, etc are TOO good lmao, especially when you consider you can equip nearly every class with them
is it wrong to desire a BR5 that doesnt consist of laser beam automatic spam? where maybe it requires a bit more skill to magdump and wipe out an entire squad?
This can be summarized as “play BR5 to not be at a disadvantage”.
Believe or not but ppl want to play with other stuff, not only T20 FG42 and AVS. So while this is technically a good advice, it sucks.

I suppose you’re allowed to have a different opinion than mine but no i mean i don’t see a problem with auto rifle dominance.
You dojt want to get your squad wiped in 3 seconds? Play where bolt actions and smgs are dominant
Maybe i don’t see a problem with it because i use it but i feel whatever nerf they get will make them borderline unplayable with previous nerf patterns
see: impact nades, GL, Flamethrower… all “toxic” playstyles but none of which are reliable anymore.
