We know how you made kills. Lying close to the gray zone and shooting bots in the back. And the RD44 is the worst machine gun in the game. Damage, like that of assault rifles, makes it uncompetitive against MG42 100, MG42 50, MG34 75, MG81, MG34 50

This is a video from Quadro, and it was before the RD-44 was even buffed. And while Quadro is a good player, he is far from the sweatiest or best.
He lost. Ironically.
He has many such videos. Are you drawing conclusions only from his video? It’s just one fight.

What this proves is that both MGs are as good as each other. Just in their own ways.
These two videos do not prove anything.
Totally different weapons with totally different playstyles.

Dude, 5 seconds are a long time in this game, of course RD44 can do that aswell.

Thats exactly the point which makes it the best MG in the game - it doesn’t have movement penalties of MGs.

My guy probably lost a head on against a mg 42 guy and now he has come to say that the weapon is not worth because it cannot outperform the german mgs, having the best smgs, the best assault rifle is not enough, soviets also need to have better mgs than the germans.

To be fair, MG42 is absolutely better than RD44 when placed on a bipod - but RD44 can still shredd ppl that way.
No MG dispersion is the strongest MG attribute to have without a doubt.

Yeah likely any mg is better than the RD when “optimal conditions are met” since the RD does not one shot, but that’s the point if you have this absurd disadvantages when “optimal conditions are not met” disadvantages that the RD 44 does not have.
Best, wrong, most comfortable, correct—the RD44’s advantage is its high ammo capacity and flexibility, unlike other machine guns that force you to stay stationary.
