Most squads outside from the 1 variants (radio operator 1 for example) take quite a long time to get even a single level,and especially for vertrans who have unleveled legacy squads that want to use them for different BR layouts.doing this will allow for a better new player experince and just one less thing to grind.

there are some squads which are bugged after the merge. my plane on japan, BR II (A6M2 Reisen) needs over 25.000 XP to reach level 10. There are many, many squads affected by that bug. DF know that, but haven’t fixed it since the merge.

But I don’t expect a fix for this in the next (half) year. there are many other bugs with DF won’t fix and which are for years in the game
