Every gun suffers from dispersion and I think all dispersion should be minimalized
How about No dispersion
Well that aint gonna happen knowing these devs
i have no problems with dispersion on any gun ect the brenda
Why such a good and based post has such few replies
Well, that’s what we had back then.
Imagine that m3 was actually useful as a semiauto carbine.
Yup, for a game that’s going for a realistic look having dispersion is pretty stupid. If they do feel the need to keep it, they should just remove it altogether, it should be minimal.
I’ve always thought that the best way to revert the stupid bullet dispersion was to add some degree of deadzone aiming. This feature could potentially help with reducing the “call of duty” feeling in some combat situations. Insurgency Sandstorm on PC features deadzone hip fire aiming and doesn’t have any issue whatsoever even when the console port doesn’t have this feature (controller would be weird with deadzone aiming). Although, I can not speak for everyone.
Basically just add Rising Storm 2 Vietnam’s (or Red Orchestra 2’s) aiming mechanics to Enlisted.
Instead of dispersion we should have recoil, like many many users said a lot of times
But still, how many times do we need to ask for this kind of changes?. This, the bipod problem, the reload problem of some guns, and so on.
Sometimes i wander if keo is actually reading all this and if he is passing the complaints and ideas to the devs.
I rarely see official replies to questions or suggestions… They may appear only when they object to this post, and more often they just ignore these
That would be so good (for me at least)
I spend a good part of the day here and i can’t remember seeing an official response to any suggestion.
And then one would think that someone with the role that Keo has should be much more active here.
If they’re not gonna do deadzone aiming, they should just revert the dispersion and opt for more recoil instead. Just my opinion though.
Oh trust me, no dispersion is absolute HELL. Some weapons got the short end of the stick sure (Sten / MP3008 for example), but for the most part, dispersion has made stuff decently balanced, I’m glad I don’t have to experience my whole squad getting wiped from some guy on D-Day that’s at the edge of their greyzone with a mounted MG just firing away at us
If dispersion is completely removed more weapon sway must be added, as of right now our soldiers have absolutely no problem moving and aiming with no sway of any kind
i have no problems with dispersion on any gun ect the brenda
kind of partially agree with this, take the LMG for example it used to be pretty useless piece of shit due to broken mounting system & all other restrictions it got in past.
Now with “recently” added dispersion its absolutely useless so theres 0 reason to pick it up in any situation making it alot easier to choose what to bring in battle.
Also the smg’s are now better due to not having option of shooting somewhat controlled accurated bursts. Just spray & pray works fine now.
Totally agree with this as theres still the artillery, planes, tanks, grenade spam ( including noobtube ) mortars and what else that are technically noncounterable as infantry in certain ranges its good that they made the LMG useless the only thing on the said list that was rather easy to counter even with regular stock BA rifle.
Russian SMG’s dont suffer from this because every Tokarev cartridge is guided by the hand of Stalin.
Imagine changing your name to replace K with a C.
smh
Weapon dispersion appears bad because of the really long movement accuracy penalty, it can be reduced with the ‘quick turning’ perk but it still lasts quite a while anytime you move even the slightest and it affects non-SMG weapons really badly, especially MGs. If you take the time to completely stop moving and lower your stance to control recoil you’ll find that most weapons are actually pretty damn accurate, it just takes so damn long for the accuracy penalty to go away after moving.
