well.
if you play your sand castle that’s kinda normal you’re not getting kills.
enlisted does not reward you for sitting idle.
but actively seek bots to kill
well.

do you understand that you cant get kills cause attackers are camping in gray zone? you have to search whole map to find those hidden attackers?
that’s why i do have snipers, lots of bombs, or even bolties.
not a single time ever happened to me that i couldn’t reach the enemy team in defense.
on offense on the other hand, sometimes because no thoughy on the capzones and we always ending up roflstomping them.
enlisted top gameplay is when you don’t have to put too much effort in finding bots to kill, it’s supposed to be fun war game not seeking simulator.
i’m afraid we’re playing a different game
I deeply believe you didn’t experience what we’re talking about too, I think otherwise you’d agree with us. Sadly I don’t know how we can agree with each other, look at screen I did here
Nearly every match i play looks like this
do you recognize this pattern from your games?
this is the exact problem were talking about here.
i dont have problem killing them when i spot them. i have problem spotting them in the first place.
i dont want to play hide and seek with enemy players.
Don’t forget that when turning on the booster you want the game to last as long as possible
I often convince strangers to voluntarily give up control points in situations dominated by the defenders.
that’s why reducing cap time is last resort lazy solution, I’d rather another way to encourage attackers being more aggressive.
so that the game would last long AND be entertaining.
As I’ve noted on other posts but will note again for the sake of this conversation:
It appears to be that on PC servers, Defenders dominate.
But on Console only servers, Attackers dominate.
For us on console at least, those long games like that are RARE. Those are the games that are the most fun because its usually a very VERY close game.
I think that rather than cutting games shorter, the focus needs to be to resolve various balance issues to make it enjoyable for PC and Console to play TOGETHER. (No, I’m not talking about controls. I’m talking about strategic gameplay/ EFFECTIVE support players, better mechanics regarding greyzone, and making dynamic gameplay elements effective.)
Then you will have the players that push on offense, and hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy some actual DEFENSIVE gameplay.
not true. simply side with better players dominates, no matter if it is attackers or defenders.
i can disprove this easily.
if you are on first cap after 25 minutes, then that means that attackers spent ~1000 tickets on first cap. they basically have no chance of winning even if they cap the first cap cause they will get shit reinforcements.
if you are on other caps you will not see 25 minutes close fight cause either attacker will run out of tickets way before 25 minute mark either the attackers will camp (so again not a close match).
also tell me what is the longest game you played? does it even go over 50 minutes?
I don’t play against PC much, so IDK how those maps play out. I was going off the discussion where you and others were stating that defenders are usually the winners.
In the long (and fun games) the first capture point usually expends 100-300 tickets.
The second point is often similar.
If a lot of Defenses are set on the 3rd or 4th objective (which is usually what I try to do but often an artillery strike or something breaks everything), and team makes good use of them, we can usually get attackers to expend 250-500 tickets on these objectives, and where MOST of the time is spent.
The last objective is usually fought with the remaining 100-250 tickets.
On CONSOLE it rarely gets to the point of timing out. So the current amount of time allowed seems to work perfectly.
The ABSOLUTE longest game I ever played was about 6-8 months before the merge. Confrontation on Cave Village in Tunisia. The game was a bit over 2 hours long. 200+ kills, over 300 fortification points, it was actually a pretty fun game and it was a VERY close game.
My average “long game” now is around 45-55 minutes, with a few of the really fun ones going a bit longer.
yes and we’re talking about those long unfun games where 1000 tickets drains on first objective
I like long games as long as the game unfolds on the rest of objectives, otherwise it’s just being an aggressive defender which isn’t the point.
It’s not always the first cap that reaches the timer though. Sometimes long fights occur on other objectives too.
I’ve had plenty of games where the first cap falls immediately and then objective 2 or 3 the fight lasts for like 20 minutes before they either run out of tickets or manage to push through!
My point is that I don’t think the issue is the amount of time, but rather perhaps the incentive to push forward.
10-15 minutes per cap covers this.
to spend 1000 tickets you need around 25 minutes of battles. thus to spend 500 tickets you need ~12.5 minutes. so again you dont need 25 minutes to cap this.
cause you dont games with defenders totally shutting down attackers.
confrontations are different beast and those long games have been nerfed.
and that is basically ~10 minutes per cap on invasion.
in my experience it is either
there’s hardly ever anything else.
Your math is flawed dude. Your mistake is that you are averaging your amount of time on each objective by how many tickets are lost.
Not every objective is going to lose the exact same amount of tickets in the exact same amount of time.
Some objectives might take 10-15 minutes, but others may take 20-25 minutes, sometimes even with the same number of tickets lost between the two.
As I said, there are very fun games where the middle or late objectives hold for a considerably longer amount of time.
Just because in Console games the timer doesn’t often get fully used, doesn’t mean they need to reduce it!
Do you play PC or Console?
pc
and yea that would solve the whole problem too
