Make an actual forest instead of producing a halfway-done map because you can’t meet your contract deadlines. Here are some references since your Russian Search engine seems to be unreliable:
The hurtgen is really rushed map. I found countless of visual bugs in the editor like floating objects. Also most of the objects in the map are copied from normandy/seelow. The town hall and railway station are the only unique structures
Their handiwork disgusts me. All they had to do was copy and paste a ton of cedar trees closely knit together and create an overgrowth. They are just flat-out lazy or terrible at schedules.
Add more snow, more maps and completely overhaul the color palette (make the game darker, gloomier and more fitting of WW2, instead of the bright, cheerful and colorful present maps).
My friend, what is the point of snow if there is no forest? When Germans would call in fire missions, their shells would slam into all the closely-knit trees and cause giant splinters of wood to launch at you. Not to mention, the trees would offer cover from small arms fire as well. The most important thing to add out of everything missing in Hurtgen is the forest itself; it was honestly what defined the battle and made it unique.
They have screwed stuff like this before. Look at Guadalcanal with their imaginary beach assault at Tenaru, featuring no Edson’s Ridge or Henderson field. I made a whole thing proving they imagined everything that went on when, but this one guy was trying to shill and say it was at the initial invasion, even though there was no battle on the beaches on the initial invasion because the Japs ran because of Naval Bombardment.
