In fact, I had already suggested it quite some time ago, but taking advantage of the fact that they are now working on the physics of the game, I am publishing it again. Seriously, DF, I think I speak for the entire community that we would like a better sprint animation, and I think you can easily copy or recover the one seen in these early gameplays of the game.
