Recent semi-auto fire rate nerf and possible solution to it

Armaguerra was actually good when Tunisia just oppened but something went drastically off with them, even before RoF nerf. Recoil got much worse.

I prefer this suggestion, 300 would be perfect for rifles. 5 shots a second is no problem at all when pulling most triggers.

I don’t know if this would be possible to implement but my suggestion would be to keep the original fire rate (400+) for the first two consecutive shots and then decrease it to around 300 on the following shots.

Double tapping especially feels completely off now after the nerf.

After some days of playing I must say that this nerf is barely noticeable. Just on very close combat you need to spam-fire very fast. On medium/large distances you do not even notice the nerf, because you have to correct aim anyway (even with the -40% recoil perk).
What is annoying (but was there even before the nerf) are missed hits with semiauto rifles even when the aim is good and the target is stationary (hit registration problems).

To be fair there are less hit registration problem now than before wen people spam fire in cqc

I wonder why last tier semi-auto are not nerfed.

The only good thing with that useless nerf is that it makes me enjoy Tunisia more. There’s no fully auto rifles there (yet) for any side, and my bread and butter bolt actions are fantastic here.

Oh, c’mon :smiley: On allied side there are already fully upgraded Thompson/Charlton rifle squads strolling around in most games. They have been farming well from killing bot squads during this period. Doesn’t even matter if those aren’t automatic rifles technically, balance on games have really changed.

But at LEAST, there’s no LATE lvl fully auto rifles like fg, avs etc… there’s a ton of smgs in Tunisia but ppl can get them at very low lvl wich is nice as it prevents power creep. (Though the m1 tommy is absolutely terrifying, I wonder why it’s not the latest to unlock)

It’s only an issue when it becomes hugely widespread in squads. One dude with it is whatever, even one squad is okay. But when you play against/with entire squads that all have vitality perks, it becomes very noticeable. In my customs, I can usually tell who players are before killing them just by how many shots it takes to kill them

I’m not too sure of other campaigns, but at least for Normandy, the only gun I think needs a buff from the carbine nerf is the M1 Carbine.

Just a slight RoF buff and we are good. It is just slightly too slow.

Enlisted has my favourite gunplay of any fps ATM. Can’t say I’m a fan of the rof fire nerf. As an avid shooter irl, realism certainly isn’t on the agenda with this nerf.

Should go back to how it was. And I saw no problem with it balance wise anyway. This is one game that you can dominate with anyweapon at any level. Bolt actions feel so good in this game
