After playing with the ZH-29 in Stalingrad and comparing it to the watered down ver. in Moscow (haven’t gotten it in Tunisia yet). I strongly think that the ZH-29 in Stalingrad should be implemented for Moscow as the proper counter part to the newly buffed AVS-36.
Why you ask? A select fire vs a semi auto for rifleman, sounds unfair already right? Let’s have some stats
AVS is still superior in terms of Fire rate/mode, Mag capacity, Recoil
But look at the fire rate of the new ZH-29, it’s twice to what we have at Moscow, and I think that would bring a leveled grounds to the riflemen of Moscow. Yes ik the recoil is higher but it’s easy af to control.
Completely agree. I actually made a similar post. While the AVS 36 was better before the nerf the ZH29 was no slouch. After the nerf the ZH29 was destroyed next to the AVS
Just bring back the normal rof (the one in Stalingrad) for ALL semis. This rof cap is just unrealistic and dumb. They can boost the recoil a bit to compensate if they want…
Rof of all weapons should be the same as irl. It’s one of the very few stats that we have actual data about. For balancing we can alter all other stats (more or less of course).
And we explained them several times that it’s not. It’s clearly a ballance change and so called “realism” is only an excuse.
We gave them other ways to nerf “rof” of semi auto weapons. I hope one day they will use them instead.
I think they should either reverse the semi auto nerf (the good option) or nerf the Stalingrad ZH-29 (the bad option) because the current state of: “average rate of accurate fire at medium distance using a semi auto rifle is around 300 RPM, so let’s have every semi auto rifle shoot at ~200 RPM” despite every rifle in the game technically being able to shoot like this irl:
My opinion on ROF nerf changed since Stalingrad came out. If bolt action rifles are going to be deadlier in every campaign in the future, the ROF for semi automatic rifles should be reverted. But they should have more recoil so spamming isn’t meta.
Exactly! I don’t mind Stalingrad’s recoil. It’s pretty high for semis, so even with the normal rof Czech semi, dumping a mag and scoring a hit on an enemy who’s even just at medium range is out of the question. But in a pinch, at point blank range vs some ppsh guy, it’s a nice thing to have.
I’m liking the fact that guns are getting buffed in some cases, but I think the time to ADS should be a bit longer to compensate. Most Stalingrad gameplay is just quick-aiming like it’s a twitch based shooter, and I’m confident that many of us are here to avoid that type of gameplay.
I agree entirely. Bolt actions are deadly because you can snap shot with them…it doesn’t make sense. I remember in Ro1 and RO2, if you tried to snapshot without actually taking time to aim properly and give time for your iron sight to align it generally meant missing entirely in a very embarrassing way.
I liked it. It’s also what made combat a bit “slower”… But at the same time so much intense! In panick, many ppl missed their shots and it often ended in bloody melee fights.
But I concede Enlisted isn’t RO, and is targeting a younger audience coming from call of duty and the like…
Deadzone aiming? I’d fucking LOVE for Enlisted to have that. Red Orchestra 2 did it so well, although Rising Storm 2: Vietnam was an excellent middle ground while still giving you the option to enable deadzone aiming. IMO, Enlisted should’ve been designed with that and kept a similar gameplay pace to RO2/RS2 but oh well lol.
