1)reduce vertical recoil of fg42 2 so that it’s lower than avt as it is much higher compared to avt and yet it does less dmg than avt
2)improve M2 carbine sights tremendously (there are many examples given in the forum, don’t need to explain how to implement)
3)limit M2 carbine, avt and fg 42 2 to engineers to encourage more people to play engineers
4)let engineers use mkb 42h
5)nerf fedorov rof and move it to engineers
Let’s keep it short:
1 The author wants to ponerfy avt and upgrade fg 42 2, although the recoil pattern avt worse than fg 42 2.
2 the author wants to give mkb engineers simply because he still has them from Stalingrad full access.
3 the author wants to nerf Fedorov, simply because he wants to do so
4 wants to make quite a spravilivoe improvement of the sight m2 carbine, but the problem is not in the sights, and the fact that in Enlisted sights are too close to the eyes.
5 Wants to limit automatic rifles to engineers, arguing that the class is unpopular

AVT40 and T20 has half the real recoil the FG42 has, and by pattern, FG42 recoil goes up right corner jumping left and right
M2 sight sucks
M2 carbine is pretty much an AR for rifleman
Engineer can use AR is never a problem, I mean where do you think they will show up? BR1? and if the limit is only for MkB42 then guess there is a reason to use that gun

That’s right, AVT is really too strong. As a Soviet player, I sympathize with my German colleague because their FG42 II performs really poor.
I am willing to exchange my AVT for their FG42 II to make this game even better.
For Fedorov no the current RoF is accurate.
Thanks for the numbers, now look at the kickback pattern in the game. Those numbers with the spread and recoil are fine until you meet reality, where the fg 42 2 is a lasergun, and the avt shakes horizontally in different directions when you try to fire more than 2 rounds.
In practice the AVT40 beat FG42 every time in long range because it has lower dispersion, and more damage at long range and in close range it has a bayonet
Oh btw I didn’t state the M2 Carbine if Recoil matter that much, you want a laser gun, try the M2 Carbine, or you know, just use the Fedorov

Heavily disagree. (Even considering I’m an Engineer Main)
Engineers should be able be viable off of their unique capabilities (fortifications), not be given automatics. Their focus should be on construction, not just have an auto weapon and the ability to give themselves infinite ammo.
You need to be REQUIRED to diversify your squad to gain the various benefits. So the m2, FG42, AVT, etc should only be equipable by Assaulters, and Riflemen.

They already received multiple consecutive buffs, and have stupidly stable sights to compensate. There’s also no stopping you from using it while hipfiring given how extremely accurate it is even without using sights.
Engineers are already an overworked class that are essential in every player’s roster. This unnecessarily increases their value and lowers the value of everyone else’s. It also promotes giving larger squads that have riflemen in their lineups more incentive to resort to rifle grenade spam.
There are also future plans to introduce assault-rifle-equipped engineers in an event.
That’s not how it works.
Yes, more ppl would use engineers. No, it wouldn’t mean they will build substantially more (rallies).
It would make engineers better at fighting, and that’s what ppl would use them for.
If you want ppl to build more (rallies), buff/reward this so ppl feel it’s worth their time.
We can even see this in the game:

When stalingrad came out, there was an increase in rallies but rather small. It was because building a rally was a second priority to spewing more bullets.

When there was an event with a challenge to build rallies, ppl often posted pictures with 5+ rallies in a match. Suddenly engineers being handicapped to SA rifles at best was not an issue. Players bilt rallies becuse they were rewarded for it!
Sadly devs did the same thing with medics.
The class is underutilised? Add moar daka! Maybe it won’t encourage ppl to heal more but our chart displaying the ammount of ppl picking this class has never looked better.
