Captured Balkenkreuz UFO for USA event

Then Japan can capture it from the US so they have one as well. So peak.

And this is only the “Level 4” UFO for BR4. Next Level 5 UFO gets anti-matter rockets

There’s still a chance of error or death, unless he camps somewhere on the side of the map. Then he’s lucky!
And I’m glad we don’t have maps like that in Enlisted. Maps should be closed enough.

Devs need to rework all maps in the game to function better for vehicles, instead of rebalancing the vehicles. This is the smarter approach as it takes more time and resources, so it will not happen, so vehicles can remain unbalanced

My grandfather is work for Gaijin so he can tell me this information

Real talk tho, if you want to rebalance infantry counters, you need to rebalance vehicles.

  • in every other combined arms game, maps are large so vehicles take time to get to objectives, are easy to get wide flanks on, and can’t cover the effective play area by camping in a no-infantry zone. In Enlisted, none of these are true.
  • in every other CA game, vehicles are either extremely expensive in terms of resources, tickets, or respawn time (or a measure of the three). They are high risks but give high rewards. In enlisted, they are minimal risk, high reward. They cost the same to spawn and they can respawn immediately so killing them does literally nothing (especially if they’re on a defender side and have infinite tickets)

So, if you want to reduce infantry countermeasures to the lowest level of skill in the game (because let’s be real, sitting in the GZ and clicking once every 3-15 seconds isn’t exactly pro gamer), something else needs to change as well.

Inb4 biased infantry main; I’m fine with reduced AT accessibility if the above is addressed, but it never will be because the game would need an entire overhaul.

HVAR still stronger tho

There is a chance that the tanker in our thought experiment went to the toilet.
We assume perfect skill on both sides, otherwise it doesn’t make sense.

They are already small and full of litter. There is no space for vehicles to drive, let alone flank.
We need bigger maps with space for vehicles, not smaller more cramped.

I didn’t mean the size of the map. I meant in terms of openness and closure. That is, we have enough cover for infantry now (houses, trees, etc.)

+1

I’ve played a good number of battlefield games, and generally avoid the vehicle modes. But when I have played modes with vehicles, they are more focused on fighting eachother than on fighting the infantry. It also is much more difficult for those tanks to kill you, you can hide better and the HE isnt the size of the moon. Enlisteds Combined Arms are so overtuned for the vehicles, and the game is very fun when vehicles arent just killing 10s of infantry at a time.

I don’t think I’ve EVER seen an explosion this big in another combined arms game

I’d say we have even too much cover. Look at any street in Stalingrad or Berlin. You have cover every 10m. Even when shooting at other tanks it’s annoying.

And driving through all this is just pain. You need to constantly make turns and get stuck all the time.

The only thing tank cant drive through is other tank wrecks and czechogs, you can clear the road?

Having come from Squad/Arma, vehicles are extremely powerful and terrifying; but the maps are so large you can find ways to avoid their lines of fire, flank and destroy, or go capture one of the other objectives. It’s just another flaw of the single-objective capture system on tiny maps with 4x vehicles in a 10 man team.

A lot of props are indestructible. And even if they were, I’d spent the whole match clearing this (assuming I don’t get shot in my bottom armour while driving over some BS family car).

There are a lot of them in Berlin and I like that, it gives me a real feel of 1945 Berlin.
They should make the bunkers and… more vulnerable, a few pieces of wood shouldn’t be as durable as a KT.

I not had an issue driving T28E through streets of Stalingrad

I had issues driving StuG. You get a whole new perspective with low mounted gun. Even damn parkbench is an obstacle you need to keep in mind. You need to either go through or around every damn thing in front of you if you want to have any LoS.
But the worst are the barricades. They are just enough for StuG to not be able to shoot over them! Argh!

So anyway, there is a shit ton of cover and obstacles to nerf tanks. Even if infantry had no AT options, I don’t know if it would be worth it to not gray zone camp.

Btw big advantage of StuG is it’s low profile :+1:

Don’t worry, it’ll be fixed in 12 months. Only took around that much time to fix tracked vehicles crossing train tracks

Jokes on you! I’ve been waiting for 1.5y already

The first Jadgpanzer the devs added to the game was the prototype Jagdpanzer IV L70 (A) - which is a bit higher than the other Jagdpanzers, most likely the devs did that because they knew a super small tank would have terrible problems fighting in Berlin.
