When I read the news that another top tank is joining the Normandy campaign, I was excited. I thought cool, finally they add a new tank squad and I have a good second tank squad. But no, all good tanks are in the same squad. I only know such strokes of genius from our EU politicians.
Conclusion doesnt make any sense.
No more questions…
Sorry. I cant retardness.
They should remove the PIV J put the PIV H unstead adn put the Jpanzer IV unstead of Panzer IV H … and unstead of Jagpanzer put the jagdpanther
that was my second thought
Meanwhile Allies having the same situation, last squad shares the M10 GMC, 76 Sherman, and M18 GMC
They were not actually In Normandy, only the Early Model with the L48 was, making an even strong case for having it removed an replaced with the right model and having it in another section or a stand alone.
The game does this though add kit that is totally out of context for their campaigns, most recent example of this apart from the Jadgpanzer IV L70, is the G.55 for Tunisia, and the Bomarang for the SWPA, they were not used over the Solomons or during the Island Hoping Campagne, O and the Freaking Owen in Tunisa ffs.
A somewhat rare tank destroyer they could add to Normandy for the Whermacth is the hetzer / yagpanzer 38t, it used parts from the chzechaslovakian ( Sorry if i buchered that ) designed panzer 38t and served on the western front and is in war thunder
Wait since when was the M18 in Elisted ?
About 2 days ago it was added
same reason why the hellcat wont be used, it is supposed to replace the 76 sherman
Jadgpanthers were in Normandy
idk that any Hetzer’s were though
I don’t think that the Hetzer was in Normandy as the tests started in June 1944. Both regiments equiped served at the Eastern front.
Didn’t seem to bother the devs with the jumbo or M2, why would it be any different this time.
Only a mad man would use that tank instead of the Tiger. It just doesn’t make sense as the Tiger can pen every counterpart easily. It buffles me that this tank is in the same squad as the big cats, yet I think it was due to the fact that you literally could equip two tank squads with high caliber guns. Balance I guess, sadly as the tank will be in oblivion…
Last major, that’s also why the Pz IV/70 is being mentioned, it’s the german equivalent
The Boomerang plane was used in Solomon Island campaign, you can find it on web.
I complained about that BS as well, so Why should it be any different this time
I keep forgetting that the game adds stuff that is not historically relevant or appropriate to the theater or timeframe, the Boomerangs did not operate over the Solomon’s till very late in the war, and thus were outside the scope of my research on the subject.
There is a lot of other 44/45 kit in the Pacific game making it one of the more F’ed up campaigns we have as far as historical accuracy goes, so the Boomerang when viewed in that light fits in.
