Realistic future of Enlisted year 5 speculation

So we’re celebrating Enlisted’s 4th birthday.
What can we realistically expect from Enlisted?

Let’s start with some facts:

  1. DF wants every nation to be BR 1-5
    I believe this makes separate Italy, UK, France, Finland etc. very unlikely, even if some of us would be happy with certain nations being BR 1-3 only.

  2. DF have already confirmed/hinted on Soviet-Japanese front so this doesn’t need to be mentioned I think.

  3. We already have lots of WW1 and Modern equipment in the game.

Now to scenarios:

1. Sticking to WW2 and the 4 nations.

1.1 New fronts

Where else did the current factions fight?

Italian campaign (US/UK vs Ger/Ita)
Philippines/Indochina (might be under the Pacific)

This seems to be about it.

While there are a lot of maps we could see (Sevastopol and the Black Sea, Leningrad and the Baltic Sea, the Caucasus mountains, etc) those are all technically Eastern Front theater, for instance.

1.2 New vehicles and weapons for existing factions

Which major/iconic WW2 vehicles and weapons (not counting prototypes/projects) are there to add?

Super Pershing has been in the works for almost a year, then there are ISU 122/152, Jagdtiger, Me 262, Ju 87 G-2 with cannons, Ferdinand/Elephant, Puma and Hanomag 251 variations, Ostwind/Wirbelwind, Hetzer, Sherman Easy Eight, BA-64, Sd.Kfz 222 – that’s about it, isn’t it?
How many more major updates/tech tree fillings/lucrative premium squads can WW2 bring?

2. Going to different eras (WW1 or Cold War/Modern)

2.1 WW1 is easily possible because we have so many WW1 weapons already (Lee-Enfield, Gewehr 98 (both kinda), Mosin, Arisaka, Lebel, Springfield, Maxim, MP-18, Beretta 1918, Lewis, Winchester 1912 shotgun, Winchester lever action, Chauchat, Mondragon, Farquar Hill, Fedorov, etc.) as well as Western Front assets (French countryside), we have Eastern Front assets (Moscow-ish outskirts).
However, War Thunder doesn’t have any WW1 vehicles to port and some/most people seem to think WW1 is boring because you can’t rush with full automatics all the time.

2.2 Cold War/Modern is more than possible since we already saw some modern vehicles and weapons in the game after the Modern Warfare event.
Should they become separate BRs 6-10 which don’t mix with 1-5 or Enlisted 2?
I think keeping unified game and economy would make more sense.

3. Going full bananas on Halloween-style heroes, skins and cosmetics to attract the numerous “I don’t care I want to look unique” crowd to milk what we have now and give The Cosmetic Filter to the “boring WW2 fans”.

Really hope to be wrong here and that this never happens.

I think a better approach would be to provide an optional display option
Allows players to choose whether to see more ahistorical paint and decorations

The worst thing they could do is to add Korean war/cold war as BR6-10, keep them separated and then after a year change their minds (like with old campaigns) and merge them together in style of War Thunder. This would make me want to quit the game for good.

No thanks i don’t want my KT to get murdered by annoying Heatfs it’s a pure bs in WT. I’m playing low BR and with higher BRs devs would want to merge more of them so BR2 would become mix of BR1-3.

This Game is not gonna live to long i just give them until 2029 this proyect Will be abandoned… As the way is looking foward

Knowing DF I’m sure they would find a way to add automatic rifles in WW1 and I hate that idea so so much. I rather have modern conflict era so they can fill it with all sorts of stuff wich actually existed and stop adding experimental weapons and vehicles. What they did to WW2 is awful already.
