Realism mode instead of hardcore?

I see no one really enjoys hardcore mode, the lobby’s are so empty there’s not a single chance to get a full game going.

I get it, playerbase choose to go play casual games over anything else, that’s for sure. Although would you play hardcore mode if it was less hardcore and more realistic?

Things i would change is having the most important HUD indicators such as minimap, objective markers, bars that appears while capturing.

But instead remove all the stuff that makes the game easier, such as: hit markers, markers that show you where exactly shoot in order to get a plane downed, the indicator of where the tank barrel is aiming at while moving, etc.

Also, there could be stuff like I’ve seen people been asking about like harder Interia for sprinting and movement overall, reduced dispersion (maybe swapped with weapon sway), less recoil, larger objectives, increased distance that rally could be build.

I am really looking forward into this because I am little bored over with current casual games only. What do you guys think?

Even in games like HLL and PS and BF, there are a lot of non-historical elements.

As a player, I may not want historical and realistic, but I want bigger maps and more strategic choices, probably closer to a first-person RTS. with more roles and elements in the battle

Some players in my language’s community have likened Enlisted to first-person coh, but Enlisted never is. He’s just now a anencephalic CQC fighting robot farms.

It would be hard to achieve a tactical dimension to a game where players don’t really want to communicate with each other. Of course, this could be solved in some way, e.g. each player individually would have a top-down goal, and the outcome of the fight would depend only on whether a given player would commit himself to fulfilling it. I have the impression that in the current situation players are just running mindlessly around the map, usually outside the objective. Just that on the D-Day map, a task would be imposed to, for example, eliminate MG positions, or to demolish a wall in order to flank the enemy. The game is enough to lead by the hand, for example, the marker i’ve said about above which you have to shoot at when shooting at an enemy plane. So why not introduce such elements that would definitely affect the tactical gameplay? I think the devs just don’t want to go that route because arcade gameplay just sells better and that’s it.

I won’t compare other products here. In recent years, the changes in the number of live broadcasts on live streaming platforms and the active degree of viewers of these games can be checked by players themselves.

What you say makes sense in terms of the high premium costment, but as a consumer I expect more of its potential than its current status.

maybe darkflow will finally introduce the system on this principle and make a splash on the gaming market? who knows, it has a lot of potential, maybe players have grown up to expect more from the game than just pewpew

i wish

Both pewpewpew and hardcore can have their own direction.

pewpew like BF can also be fun, more arcade and pewpew and you don’t have to worry about the game getting boring and always become one-sided. players fill the battle.

At the same time, you won’t always be warned of grey zones, and you won’t be forced to run head-on into enemy fire positions by patrol in air

You can turn off all of those things

Control shift G

Well, my point was more so the “pewpew” games to have a deeper meaning in general. After all, enlisted, even if those mechanisms were introduced, it would not necessarily become a hardcore shooter. At the same time, I think it would be far more appealing than any other casual FPS such as BF you mentioned.

well, for myself only. This is not what i am asking about.

Actually a small portion of people like what you are asking and i doubt we see something so drastic so early in the game

You can ask but a simulation mode dont come before another 2/3 year

BFV is a stopped updating game, there will be no new content.

HLL and PS are not as good at map detail and scene destruction as Enlisted, which has better graphics and performance optimizations.

And the Enlisted may have even more stuff from War Thunder, vehicles and tanks. If they can’t add that because of pewpewpew, that’s an amazing waste

I wouldn’t be waiting and spending here if it weren’t for some of the potential and benefits to look forward to.

But you can imagine after 3 years of playing pewpewpew Enlisted, I didn’t even want to click the start game button, it was just the same feeling inside

I know, it’s slowly dawning on me that this game isn’t and probably won’t become what I thought it was anytime soon. I’m heading towards HLL with every day. It’s a pity, I’m going to miss those ranting mfs on the forum though

You can still read forums when you dont play, just wont be able to reply.

So maybe this is the reason behind these ridiculously overpriced premium squads? so they could gather money to fulfill their potential best

correct me if im wrong but i heard somewhere that warthunder has become much more than it was at the beggining, what do people mean by that? what it has become exactly? was it a huge difference like it could be in this case with enlisted too?

Good to know, I’ll be sure to check this game out from time to time, buying stuf from time to time and maybe someday…

It started as MMO Plane arcade-simulator game, now it has tanks, ships, helicopters, drones and many has changed. Lot of changes have been good, but some have been a total shitshow and are shit until today. But biggest problem with WT is, it doesnt have any competition, its only one of its kind and devs know it soo they are selling really overpriced premiums, like a Su-25 for 70 euros.
