I agree that shooting in midair / jump shooting should go or jumpshooting accuracy should be reduced seriously. And jumping from 2nd,3rd etc floor should do more damage/cause death to players, if realism is what they promote in this game. With silly possibilities like shooting while in mid-air this game already resembles Cod4 Promod or Max Payne too much.
Well said. Vehicle combat is the most enjoyable part of this game and quite well done apart from glaring balancing and other minor issues. Infantry combat leaves a lot to be desired by comparison. I agree 100% witth OP.
exept we, and they didnāt had all the " wrong " stuff that we have today.
it was somewhat different, and for certain aspects, ( arguably, and subjectively for some, and not everyone ) better.
( which, at that time, we had our own issues like @wolfy706 correctly mentioned about )
but as a alpha tester my self, i share the same opinions of @VoyoMayPL. and as far as i can see, and remember, many others enlisted testers, both from the CAT, and others from the CBT thinks almost the same. if you noticed, despite having somewhat lots of numbers of those testers, they are getting rare and rare everytime. because they leave. for on reason or another, but they all share the common ones. iām not going in too much details, but i still receive lots of feedbacks in my dms about people leaving because they donāt like the game or tuns out to be disappointed.
and i canāt blain them.
this version of the game the we have to play since obt itās not what has been promised to us, nor advertised or remotely entitled. and surely ( for some ) not the reason why we were interestred about this game. donāt get me wrong, games can changes, and have all rights to do. but usually for the best, not the other way around. otherwise we get results from other free to play that failed miseraly.
for what i care, they should rework the entire site and make it more accurate of what it is now, not of what it was supposed to originally be.
and if i knew how the game would have becomed, i wouldnāt have tested it.
but i am greatefull for the time and help that i gaved to this game along side the entairtainment that i got. it brought some friendship, some nice moments, but thatās it. the " magical " feeling is/has faded away after reaching obt.
the only reason why iām still sticking around if i have to be honest, itās for hopes about pve, halftracks and cosmetics for vehicles and soldiers. ( and also still helping to make this game somewhat better through bug reports for those who enjoys it. although, iām not very happy about it )
thatās quite literally it. and i do say that itās somewhat sad, but i would lie if iād say anything else.
again, iām somewhat sorry to say this, because i understand the work behind, all the effort, how the task it self itās not easy, the underpressure especially when everyone is almost hyped because of the potential, and i have been somewhat there. but, the devs decided to put us here, which i donāt mean always to dumpt it, because recently itās almost like i only see negativities and iām sorry, but as usual, i donāt criticize if i donāt have reslutions, and i donāt personally like the new apprach of making the game more user friendly in the wrong ways, ending up doing quite the opposite.
but, this is just my opinion.
Cuisine Royale had the same weapon mechanics youāre viewing in that one Enlisted video and I can assure you the current system is miles better. Of course improvements still need to be made, but that shit was jank.
I play enlisted for the same reason,
post scriptum/hell let loose are too much simulation you cannot just join a few min game, yoo slow!..
but then again i donāt like CODish style game where you need a 30 round mag to kill en enemy.
I hope enlisted stays in the middle with similar maps, and same time to kill.
But speaking for myself i like tank combat similar to war thunder but with an infantry mixed in i have high hopes for this game!
hoping they will fix tank damage models soon!
lol its only getting better but thats your opinion
i have the same feeling about foxhole
We can keep what we have for an āarcadeā style mode. Next they should develope a ārealisticā mode for us hardcore nerds.
I like how it is.
. As an alpha tester myself, itās miles better now than ever was back then.
This game needs a lot more attention to detail when it comes to weapons and movement system. Even when they try to make a supposedly more realistic game mode, they just add pointless inconveniences that donāt make much sense and add little to the game. The end result is not realistic, not convenient, not balanced, filled with limitations for the sake of limitations.
Where EFT has amazing gun handling and little else, BF has great explosive ādumb funā at the cost of everything else, etc. Meanwhile Enlisted⦠Enlisted only offers pretty 3D models, that were outsourced apparently. Itās RO/RS that has a combination of realism and arcade, Enlisted in its current form has almost nothing.
How did I know that @TUSUPOLISI69 would be the first to jump all over this.
frickinā Wehraboos, man
At your service Sergei
Anyone who actually āmainsā a faction deserves nothing but scorn. I have all campaigns at ~17 right now because I like to have something called FUN.
What a good boy
i play from 2 month so it will be step by step
The only sure thing is i wonāt play ruski cause i like something called challenge.
Not be taken by the hand
your fun isnāt my fun
because a person playing on one side and leveling it how he wishes or manages to, isnt fun.
k.
So not only you want to cherry pick ārealismā arguments that supports your bias but now you are also deciding whats fun for others ?
I agree with you, @VoyoMayPL.
Lot of things improved since Alpha/CBT, but the original Enlisted and the original ideas behind some mechanics are both lost.
Here are some examples:
- Soldier movement is degraded into some sort of flawless sci-fi robots (also we lost jammed gun animation possibility on reload instead of improving the mechanic).
- And of course, historical accuracy is also tainted into the point where absolutely riddiculous things are somewhat accepted, and people pointing on them are being laughed at.
To new players the ārealismā must feel like a false advertising (and they would be correct at this point).
Simply put, OBT ālawnā is much bigger, but the one in CBT was much greener.
Enlisted soldiers run with the gun drawn. They shouldnāt be.
heads get knocked off constantly while running in trenches(in enlisted), they really shouldnāt
Or maybe we just like playing one faction and donāt want to regrind another faction?
