Streets on the urban map in this game are very small and narrow.
It’s very hard to redesign maps after all this work, normandy looks great but Moscow is very badly done and the Last hope of saving it is just making open field games and these villages will be used as tank spawns or for ammo reserves. Just having open field gameplay is much better than running around with smg and killing hundreds of soldiers armed with bolt actions on close range
Also, IRL every house in 1941 in Moscow outskirts in a village had a garden close to it. So it’s not real village for now. We have some fields in Sovhoz map (three burns) but it still not enough.
Especialy burning village in the forest. It placed deeply in the forest and have no gardens at all.
Even if I agree with fixing the spawncamping, it can be easily fixed by changing the use of grey area (you remember my last suggestion on this). But what OP meant is historical landscape which will require a lot of time to fix
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a dead dog inside that basement
Memes aside,
I didn’t get to hear your opinion on the gameplay inside the Manor map
If you read the main update topic, you can see most of us thought manor was too small and parts outside the manor should be playable.
Remember I’m not talking about the looks, map looks beautiful
I’m talking about raw gameplay
thanks for sharing us some actual real footage of the place, ( that we wouldn’t have been able to visit anywhere or elsewhere otherwise in those days… )
