We have 4 sales a year, i mean its still F2P game, similar games like WT have it same. Can’t say how often there are sales in WoT. But for example WoWs never really has “sales” they have lootboxes if you want some premiums, and there is low percent you will get premium you really want, they have one of worst predatory monetization in any F2P game i have seen.

Premium time is great imo and if you get it on sale its really cheap if you go for a year of premium, you have nice bonuses but nothing you cant play without.
Customization is a crime here, its totally overpriced, but its not something you need to have a good time in game, lets be honest here, your soldiers die so quickly it does not really matter how they look.
They did locked some iconic vehicles behind paywalls to make more money, i look at you Stug in Normandy, but they dont really sell anything that gives you some huge advantage, soo its more about that if person is willing to spent this kind of money on game. Except few squads, you dont really get anything special, some are pretty overpriced for what they are offering cough Panzer IV J in Berlin for 5300 cough.
Battlepass is cheap any you get your money back, soo if you are willing to play it every time, its rewarding and you get a lot of bonuses, and you can finish that BP in what now, 25 days from 90, soo you dont even need to play every day.
I think i covered everything.
Soo some thing are good and nice, some are awful.

If I had to, I’d say I prefer WT’s approach - discounting some squads on historical anniversaries and offer limited-time unlockable decorations, which I think makes a bit more sense than discounting on weekends
As long as they put those on sale from time to time. Hard for my collector spirit to get all at such prices (2 BerdanII!!!)
Also hard being judged by beautiful wife… 
Idk about weekend SALES, but I think what they could/ should do is have weekend events that you can generate some special points in. These points can then be used for certain coupons to reduce the cost of premium squads and other premium content like squad slots and premium days.
This method would increase their player count on the weekends, as well as increase sales.
