SMGs (even the infamous PPD and PPSH) don’t one hit kill and absolutely piss bullets so if you don’t mind the slightly longer reload you’re honestly better off with the MG-34 which is why I called it the SMG-34 
What loadout are you going to set them up with?
classic assaluter squad all with the better weapon i can afford and engineer, machinegunner,radioman
i like moving fast and reloading fast, i see the mg’s as a waste of ammunition and time, for what they offer you can do more with the smg’s
the mg34 still has recoil, more than an smg, its not much the vertical nut the horizontal that is literally spastic.

Yeah, but a shitload of people abuse the MG as an SMG which is a shame because SMG room clearing is fun as hell
Not by much until you fire off more than like 10-12 rounds. In the practice range it feels a lot harsher though.
I don’t really notice the horizontal unless the guy I’m trying to hit is really far out, and up close where the gun becomes rambo cancer the horizontal is meaningless
well yes upclose is ez to use it just shoot in the general direction of the enemy, but for the rest id still prefer to have an mp35I.
MP-40/41 or Beretta for me tbh
mp40 still remain my favorite smg, even if in 3 lvl i will unlock the mp43
I wish there was a squad lead slot for each squad that you could give w/e non-heavy weapon you want like an SMG, Battle Rifle, or AR so you don’t have to waste a squad composition upgrade on it
thats a good idea maybe even pormote one of your maxxed soldier as leader, but i dont think gaijin would sacrifice the grind for this.

You could add a new set of upgrades to grind out or make it a [Squad] II and up exclusive slot so the first tier squads don’t have it.
or they can make it a premium squad, seeing the recent premium squads i almost sure the will make it like this.
Idk how because unless they’re the Berlin rifle squads the premium squads are generally worse than any of the F2P ones and this would be too good for that lol
