Games in which both sides build rally points are when this game is the most fun and competitive. To encourage rally point building, I think the inclusion of a squad order to build a rally point could be very helpful. I imagine you hold x and if you have an available engineer you get an option to choose a place for the engineer to build it. Manually building rally points can be boring and get you out of the action, with a simple squad order you can tell your bot to build it while you charge the point. This concept is already in the game as if you start building as an engineer, you can simply press x to have another engineer finish the construct. However, this forces you to swap to your engineer and manually start building the rally-point. I can draw a comparison to radiomen, who you don’t have to be using to get their special function. Hopefully, this change would increase the total number of rally points and keep the matches exciting.

While nice it might be difficult with the current system to accurately place rally points. And to order your engineers to build you need two, one that’s placed it down and one that’s currently being ordered.
I suggest a solution where your build orders don’t cancel whenever you switch soldiers ( it’s does this whenever I have a mortarman squad).
This allows you to have one engineer on your squad and he can build after you ordered him too.
Or you can suck it up and build it yourself. You can also order any extra engineers to build with you and speed up the process.
