*Reduce the building time by 50% while also adding an activation timer on the newly built rally point, equivalent in length to the deducted amount of building time. In effect, it lets RP placing players return to their desired duties quicker, while it coming into usage takes the same amount of time as before
*Make them by default face towards where the builder is aiming
*Increase the amount of points received for squad spawns. Would doubled be too much?
I’m one of those that think the rally building time don’t need any change. They’re valuable asset. a single wellplaced RP can turn the tide of battle.
I think it’s fine for them to be high risk high reward thing. Also, the building time isn’t that long imho.
Beside there is already building reduction perk for engineer class.
Use +50% faster building speed perk on engineer or get a second engineer in your squad to fasten it up a bit.
I personally don’t thing that they should be build in no time, would be a nightmare if they get spammed around by everyone absolute effortless, because like already mentioned they’re really strong .
I agree with everything, except maybe the construction speed.
More point earn will promote the use of rally point.
The other day I was sad for the only guy who build rally point with me, he was last of the team.
While the guy camping with a tank the all games was first…
If people compete to have the most profitable rally point, they will put in the flanks and it will help the teams. If both teams do it, it will make fight less on a point, but more on a front.
We need to promote rally points! In Normandy and Tunisia, because of the big maps (d day, oasis etc…) if you don’t build rally, you loose.
I get you! The thought behind reducing building time (but still keeping the time it comes into usage the same) was to incentivize those players who are so reluctant to build RPs, possibly deterred by its lengthy building time. But they probably wouldn’t do it anyways, for a variety of reasons.
