You can build ammo boxes on impossible angles yet rally points are somethimes too cancerous to build on aimed surfaces .
Rallies should be buildible easier than this
Second issue is digging
Only normandy soil allows deep holes that rallies can be put inside.
All campaign soils should be malleable as normandy .
Those rallies in pits can be game changer and harder to destroy and find for enemy.
Finding good spot in tunisia and moscow maps are too hard somethimes

The surface when you place down a rally point needs to be 100 % flat.
There is no reason for this.
Allow slightly more leniency for building rally points on terrain with a less than mild incline.

Also ff you want to make the shovels more useful we should also be able to easily put down a rally in a shovel dug hole .
It would be nice if you could fill in holes too.

Can’t agreed more, idk why you are able to construct ammo box where you want while you need to put your rally on a totally flat ground, another stupid decision from them.

The digging part,
When digging came out, i was in Tunisia and people had no problem digging,
in fact they dig so much and Built rally’s, that you couldn’t even get out of, it was too deep. lol
Or the mass holes everywhere, which would trap enemy’s, and, drop a Molotov on them was amusing.
Out of the 3x campaign i do atm,
There is only one map, on a specific point, in Pacific, that i have trouble, that i can not lay a rally,
any other map, never had a problem, finding a safe place.
and digging would not help, as it rocky/watery, i lay it once, and something changed, i can not lay a rally, in same spot anymore.
Now, i remember a time, when most, that have replied in here, would of gone, what a waste of time building a rally, let alone digging a hole, to put a rally,
Those same people, would of definitely said, digging, is a bigger waste of time.
Don’t forget about the Pacific, which has the most uneven ground in the game. Rally points are a total pain to build there—which is probably why most people don’t even bother due to the frustration level.
Maybe make right click on shovel auto level terrain?
actually i did build dig spot with rally in stalingrad but i agree with you it does need rework …
