I have come up with a few solutions and quality of life improvements for rallies and APCs. Hopefully Darkflow listens and implements these in a future update.
- Improvement One: Make Rally Points Award the Same Amount of XP as APCs.
I don’t understand why this isn’t the case. APCs do basically the same thing, except worse, as you spawn further away and they can only be used once every 10 seconds. Yes, I know the points are to make up for that, but you could just buff APCs and give us more xp for normal rallies. It might motivate people who don’t usually build them to build more.
- Improvement Two: Make Rallies Quicker to Construct.
A lot of people have been complaining about the time required to construct rallies. Just make them take the same time as an ammo box (which is 2.5 to 3 seconds if I recall). Again, this would encourage more people to build them, as banging away with a hammer for 5 seconds or more is quite detrimental to game experience (at least according to some).
- Improvement Three: Make It Easier to Know Where to Place Them
This is the biggest issue I think affecting people using (or rather not using) APCs and rallies. I am suggesting that Darkflow adjusts the minimap a little. I feel there should be a fat red line showing the furtherest up you can place them, and behind it a fat black line, showing where the grey zone starts for the enemy. This way, you can make a more informed decision about where to build them, without building a rally like 20m from main spawn (I’ve never done that, and for the love God, please don’t ever do that).

This would help out so much, cause it feels like it take me till enlisted adds american and Japanese assault engineers to build one.

Interesting idea, but I would prefer instead a “fat red line” appear in the world rather on the map (easier to see exactly where the limmit is, the minimap is to small to read accurately and any precious seconds won from shortening the building time will be lost from opening and closing the map constantly to get a better look), and said red line would also only appear when you are holding a hammer (because who wants to be looking at fat red lines all the time).
Make APC MG overheat really slow and cool down quickly just like in this game:

That could be a better idea. I just thought the minimap would be easier for Darkflow, since I don’t exactly have faith in their programming abilities (when was the last time they added anything or fixed the AI?)
That was the plan. Although, knowing Darkflow, they would probably add it full time just to make us even more frustrated in them.

Well yeah, but on a lot of my guys, I have medpack speed equipped (far more important) and quicker fire extinguishing, meaning a lot of the time, I don’t have quite enough points left over (sometimes I can get one or two speed increases, but that’s the most).

Medic perks are great, don’t get me wrong, but always, ALWAYS, put those points into build speed with your engies. I’ve wasted many a silver re-perking my engies to help them build quicker. After all, they’re usually the first ones to die, so get the rally built as soon as you can. 
That is game-changing. This has to be implemented because DF has terrible consistency in their map design over the years. On some maps, the distance from a point where you can biuld a rally (and I’m not just saying in different game modes on the same map) is completely different from others, which for new players especially is very vexing as you can’t really tell how far from a point you can build your rally.
No one likes spending their game pressing “S” until red text stops apperaring on the bottom of their screen.
