Instead of artillery they should call ,airstrike" that means 5 bot bomber plane It would be available in Tunisi, Normandy and Moscow. In berlin should be the katyusa ( i dont know how the german version is called) and the teammates with planes should counter it. The Radioperator II instead of smoke barrage should call air drop (ammo supply bringed by a single ai plane . The players with plane also should counter it too.
I dont think bombers were just on speed dial in ww2

Dont forget the infantry melting rocket strikes ^^ But yeah i get youre on the other side of the end and can understand that for sure xD Especially when the big berta is landing by the doorstep

Normandy is still like that for both sides.

I’m not gonna want the addition of carpet bombing planes on speed dial either.

yeah same here but the 100kg carpet bomb is no joke either and ive been experienced that up close and personal couple of times ^^ Dont happen often though since Sovjet tend to stick to IL2 more often then the others when it comes to groundfighting

It should have a 8 minute cooldown + arrival and leave time if the bombard crew is fully destroyed 10 minute cooldow and do not forgot it should countered by planes and ant aircraft guns. It should also have acces (territory) where the normal art cant reach like the tank who is playing tacticaly and stay in safe distance .
OMG and what if you get 50 kills you could call in a nuke!!!

I dont think that soldiers were respawn after they were shoted! during ww2
I dont think FG42 was OP in ww2 either
I Think Infantry should have more anti-air counter weapons except the 20mm flak cannon which is more suited for ANTI INFANTRY ROLE.

Yeah and should have only the members should got enlisted tester and cbt statu who is deserve them and not toxic assholes#sarcasm.( basicly this is just like the support but with 8 min cooldown not 1 min like the arty and it can be countered by planes and anti air guns ) I dont know why you wrote a hysterical sarcasm reply tho.
And what do you think how they communicated in the air did they got a bird and thrown to each other ? Of course they didnt had direct connection with every single plane but they had squads and they flew in formation. First the radioperator called the nearest hq the radiomen ( more often the squad leader talked and asked for support) they only got air support when planes moved near their position and arty support if they got already set up positions for that. ( the whole squadron got the call infos but they only sened 1 or 2 little platoons to the help )
A bombing run in the magnitude that your calling for wasn’t just a everyday thing that every battle fought had the resources for
Small bombing runs with fighter bombers like that which the game already provides is all you’d need
So arty is perfect for radiomen
in the game we have big battles not no name battles. for example in tunisia the axis side got aroun 500 plane support from the luftwaffe theye werent there to be decoration but there should be places where you can call for airsupport for example in normand at omaha beach
You already get plenty of air support from your teammates in planes
Their bombs kill easily 10-15 enemies in one payload.
Only downside for you is that your radio man dosent get effortless kills with one call.
Also is it going to show a red circle to alert the enemies? Because if it did then that bomber is easily avoided unless they are idiot bots

Because it’s a straight up bad idea.
A gameplay loop where someone can reap benefits with no risk or reward other than proc’ing a cooldown is not good.

i think often about a Ammunition Drop, very Usefull when you play with Friends and you cant get together, or the Pioneer in your Squad gets shot first.
Instead of an airstrike i would love to see (and hear) Nebelwerfer and other rocket arty to be implented.
