Some RegEx checks to see if some words like Niger, Adolph, etc with additional leak speak checks would be easily implemented.
Same for trooper naming.

All the ppl that hardly argue against it, are some dickheads.

No ones. Really no ones freedom is in danger if he cannot pick a name like Niger.

I think it’s a good compromise if while people are free to use supposedly funny filter circumventions to adopt trolly names, other people are free to call them dumb if the joke is of bad taste.

At the same time, bad jokes are still jokes, and should be taken as such.

To the OP: the reporting function in game exists also for this. If a player’s name triggers you, just report him, let game managers decide its fate, and move along.

Every further step, including opening forum threads to “denounce such unacceptable behavior”, is either A) falling straight into the troll’s trap by overreacting, or B) seeking for attention and popular approvation by pointing fingers, or most likely A+B.

But then getting mad and calling racists left and right when reality betrays expectations and people don’t give a darn, or start trolling the OP too.

There is a possibility you ignore: he call himself nigger, because he is. Who are you to take his right to call himself who he is? “Who will call himself a nigger?” - you probably ask, and answer is: person not under influence of american populism.

Once again: “n-words” used before massive slavery and is neutral in most countries; “black” - actively used by racists in americas before and after slavery ban (“colored segregation”); “[something] American” - new way of segregation invented by american racists (because no “European American”).

“Nigger” in nickname is not racism. Those, who get triggered by it, are brainwashed puppets of american politicians.

Public accusations of racism and other serious claims against individuals should be avoided. Please take it up with official support rather that starting a thread and creating a big discussion which ends up containing all sorts of unsavoury posts and topics.
