but the select for individual orders. instead of pressing left mouse button to change the soldier you press Right mouse button to select in individual orders.
the dynamic of having 2 mouse buttons (Right/Left) make the interface able to do two types of commands, in the left mouse button the change soldier, and right mouse button the select soldier in individual orders.

This is actually already in the game! I use it often, and it is a great feature. My keybinds are different and I don’t remember the default but here is a screenshot of where you can find it to switch between squad and soldier order mode. It is under “Switch the mode of giving orders” and “Switch to the next squadmates for orders”
From there you will see a selection under a soldier that you can cycle through. Soldiers with orders already have a green dot above their icon

but the point is, to swicth to the soldier you want, a shortcut. that you select the very soldier you want in no time.
