Queue with several presets simultaneously

Darkflow, please give us the possibility to queue with several presets at the same time.

That would ease the matchmaking a lot.

  1. it will create battles faster
  2. it will help to prevent mixing up players with different Battle Ratings (BR).

Everyone is of course free to customize their own presets, but let say I (Forlorn) decide to have like 3 different BR presets (“low”, “mid”, “high”). I should then be able to queue at least 3 different BR pools simultaneously.

Here i choose to only queue with two presets, one preset with “low” BR and one with “High” BR.

Or let’s say I choose to have:

Preset 1 (“Mid BR”)
Preset 2 (“Mid BR”)
Preset 3 (“High BR”)

I will then queue 2 BR-pools (“Mid” and “High”) at the same time. But not “Low”, since I choose to not queue with a preset having a low BR.

I will either be send to games where players got mid level equipment (with my preset 1 or 2), or to battles with high equipment (with my preset 3).

I’m still restricted to use one preset at the time. The match maker decides which one of the presets I will use.


Note: We don’t know how big or many BR-pools it will be. This is just an example to illustrate what I mean.

i would say yes,

but then it would become too covenient.

that’s kinda the thing of enlisted. being able to adapt to the situation with what you have, instead of being able to fully suit depending on the battle.

i’d say, let this ability be used in customs rather than the base game.

as it would be too convinient in my opinion.

I’m not sure I follow you Erika.

The suggestion propose no differences to what we have today.

One preset consist of 4 or 7+ squad slots (depending on premium/extra slots).

You will of course still only have access to one single preset in the battle you fight.

The multi-preset selector only means that you pre-battle making yourself more “matchmaking-friendly”, if you like.

i’m… stupid?

i missed the BR part.

i thought it was completely something else.
used to various thread that asked more flexibility on the ability to change in fast time through other presets and being able to fully suit for the map instead of sticking with what you got in initially.

my bad.

now that i see it under a " different light ", sure. why not.

even though imo the slots that we have are few. and majority locked behind premium.

So lets say my 1 preset is mp40 but 2nd is stg44 but game threw me in moscow campaign but other players dont have any late war weapon.
Do you have any idea how this can lead a f.u.b.a.r. situation for balance ?

Pls re-read my post. The suggestion is the designed to reduce eventual mixed BR battles!

I like the idea
In WT you can have 10 presets, but only take one to battle,
this would give you (depending on how many they could add to a queue) X amount to go in to battle with.

Guess we got an answer at least.

It’s fair, but guess we’ll get something to dream about tho.
Maybe this feature will be more requested and important to have with time.
