Questions - AI, perks

Does a pilot in the gunner position does actually “perform” better with the following perks: +30% angle of vision, +50% enemy aircraft detection range, -25 shot spread after quick turning.

What are your go-to perk setups per class?

Anyone noticed must-have perks on mostly AI controlled troops per class? Aside from the obvious class exclusive one.

Are there any detailed guides/post explaining how AI troops behave, etc ?

Yep.

AI aren’t really affected by dispersion, and this perk does not work for vehicles guns.

bots don’t get affected by G force

it does not

bots aren’t really affected by recoil either.

as, they have different parameters.

well, bots only get affected by phisical perks, such as faster reload, faster melee, faster climbing ( more like, useless, but a must for AI since they always get stuck everywhere ), vitality, sprint / speed, faster medkit and 100% stamina

although, recoil perks are usually for players rather than bots. as they have a different recoil compared to players ( different target mode let’s just say )

although, at the same time, perks are more for players.

because it just helps them to do certain tasks a bit faster.
as vitality, on a bot… usually lands them dead.
because bots prefer to stand still and retaliate.

meaning that, no matter his perk, situations will cause them to get killed relatively quickly.

but, it might helps sprint / speed as they will get to the point quickly.
perhaps faster usage of medkit and faster estinguish perk to make him survive those few seconds / get up more quickly.

as the rest, it’s more again, to aid the player.

the only way you make bots stronger, is through weapons.

as they have different usages and ““tactics””.

what i noticed, usually bots with:

mgs, are the deadliest.
smgs, are the second deadliest ( as long the damage is not piss poor )
bolt actions, are somewhat more deadlier, but will miss a few shots
semi auto, are more of a miss than hit.

which, the second thing it will improve their performance, is the soldier level / veterancy.

the more yellow stars it has, the better bots reactions will be.

Tail gunners get better with the perks.

I’m just wondering if there’s any evidence to support this? In battle my AI soldiers (all max stats lvl5 tier 1s) are apparently blind/deaf , and can be easily picked one by one from someone crawling around the corner. I do wonder if the tiers and level affect their gameplay because AIs do perform significantly better in premium squads

if my two years experience isn’t enough.

take two squads. make one full of yellow stairs, and the other with rookies / recruits.

and see who makes more kills between the two.

ovviously, they are not gonna effective as players.

but, you can keep in mind:

( also forgot to say, AIs are better when stationary, instead of when they are moving )

the rest, you can find it for your self.

tiers do not affect. only the amount of :star: that a soldier does have.

which, premium units are somewhat better because they have those stars.

The higher the rpm and maxed stars of a weapon the better the bot performance.
If you give your bots fully maxed out weapons with high rpm, they will perform much better than default weapons.
