With BP guns, there are definitely some available that are different than what you’d get with researching.
Regarding BP tanks/planes, etc - are they all essentially just different skins? Do any of them for any faction offer anything that’s different (eg. different speed, machine guns, main gun, etc) or are they all just skins?
(Or, another way of putting it, as an “either/or” were there events in the past that offered tanks/planes that were more than just cosmetic?) For instance, there’s a UPC for the Allies that was offered in an event that is obviously very different from the truck or the amphibious LTV that can be purchased.
Probably not the best example - but it does show a time when an event gave a vehicle that was otherwise not available.

But old BP vehicles can be used by some legacy squads. Giving you option to have multiple same vehicles in same lineup.
Plus they are all maxed out by default.

I cant upload screenshot now but a Panzer IV F2 from old Stalingrad campaign has some extra tracks on its front hull which is extra 20mm armour.
You can get T-34 STZ without buying Stalingrad full-access pack (which you cant even buy anymore) if you buy T-34 STZ GO.
Italian M13/40 which is slightly different than M14/41, you cant get M13 any other way now.
Thanks - those types of examples are the types of examples I was looking for. Figured I’d grab them before they all poofed in the BP revamp that DF is doing.
Is that true of other tanks with the extra tracks? I noticed a far number of those in the BP store (at least two of the F2s, as well as a tiger, a IV J, etc)
I think M13/40 is not really worth buying. It’s just worse version of already bad tank.
Moreover, it is not ultimately unique. This tank was in he old premium squad. Which could eventually make a comeback at some point.
And buying this one would be much more worthy.
(Bonus from being premium + seperate tanker squad with tanker that have unique helmets with feathers)
I see what you mean - when I select some of those vehicles, they mention two squads, one I have, and one I don’t - and now I wish there was a way to get legacy squads.
