So i have the 2 star one, which you get in campaign, and i just received the twitch drop one.
Question is why is the 2 star one, faster than the 5 star Twitch one?
Might be the 5% empty mass

its the same on every upgraded plane once you reach full star.

the differance between upgraded and not upgraded planes is indeed just that you get sligthly lower speed (which you dont notice at all), but you get slightly better turnrate (which you also dont notice at all) and slightly better climb rate (which you will most likely only notice on stukas and IL-2’s)
dont really recommend spending silvers on it any time soon

To give a contrary viewpoint - I’ve maxed out several aircraft using silver over 3 campaigns (none in Tunisia), and you don’t notice any minor losses in some stats, but I certainly notice the difference in their manouverability and smoothness to fly - they are all heaps better maxed than stock.
But it is certainly a major investment - whether it is worth it for you depends on how much you enjoy or are effective at flying, vs how much you value other stuff that silver could buy!!
