QoL: More in depth stats for vehicle weapons when examining them in the garage area

More in depth stats for vehicle weapons would be great. Sometimes you look at something that on paper looks great, but then doesn’t behave quite as you expected. Especially with aircraft this can be exceptionally challenging as you can’t tell from the air what the effect is on the ground.

Stats that I think should be listed:
MGs-

  • damage/ bullet
  • penetration
  • time to overheat if fired continuously
  • fire rate

Cannons- (some of these will only be applicable to tanks, but you get the idea)

  • Damage for a direct hit
  • Splash damage range and damage within that area (similar to how mortars are displayed)
  • AP shell penetration
  • fire rate if applicable

Bombs-

  • Damage for a direct hit
  • Splash damage rand and damage within that area (similar to how mortars are displayed)
  • If they are dropped in pairs or single

Misc- Smoke

  • Will display how large of a cloud is dispersed
  • How long it will last
  • If it the smoke grenades, how long it takes to reload

– Make it so that if the player clicks on that weapon in the garage screen, they get these details displayed. It will help players better understand their vehicles.

With this addition it will also be more clear what players are purchasing with both golden vehicle orders and even premium squads.

(On a personal note, I purchased the Hurricane Mk4 during the holiday event, as I saw it had 40mm cannons. From what I see visually they look like fairly large explosions. I’d heard mixed reviews. Upon testing in a live game however, it seems that the 40mm cannons do absolutely nothing to infantry or tanks (despite being an “attack” plane rather than a “fighter”). I have no idea if this is intentional or a bug, as there currently is no in depth information to be found in game. Having a display like I am suggesting would be a great solution to these kinds of issues.)

i am all for this… but even data they have shown now has false values. all recoil are modified by a hidden factor and only way to get to them is to datamine them.

Pointless if data are wrong anyway

do you know fragmentation values? like radius and damage?

Perhaps by doing this it gives them more reason to double check their numbers and make sure they are correct.

nah… they know that numbers arent correct. they have recoil multiplier to balance weapons. just check vaults datamined table

last 2 columns are actual recoil values. in that table you have shown in game recoil values, recoil multiplier and actual recoil values.

We need (like WT’s) armor piercing capability simulation
