QoL improvements for progression

There are some things that I’d call a technological bagadge from the pre-merge version of the game. So some here are fixes I suggest:

  1. Allow all tank squds to use all tanks, the same for planes etc. I think it’s selfexplanatory.

  2. Make weapon and vehicle upgrades separate from squad upgrades. It’s just artificial grind and it’s annoying to use.

  3. Allow us to buy new squads at will (maybe with a class limit that is increased by the tech tree, but imo it’s unnecesarry).


    Additionally maybe add emblem and name customization options. It would work well together.

They could use the same format like they did with second premium squad with M3 field mod.

Meaning, copy the already existing squad and just name it “company A/B/C…”.

If they did this, I would literally have a squad for each weapon/vehicle in the game.

Why not?
I’d say it’s actually beneficial for devs as you would need to spend a lot of silver for such thing. And it doesn’t really have any major impact on the gameplay.

the pre merge baggage still makes me so confused, I wish they would give veteran players an option to reborn their accounts for some gold exchange or something. It genuinely makes the game feel weird for me, the things you mentioned only makes it all worse. Do any of you have tips on how to come out of this mess?

Currently, you can sell a squad for 10k silver. So maybe an ability to buy new one for somewhere between 30-50k? Seems like a fair price, unless they would slash those too (5k to sell, 20k to buy). There would still be free ones in the TT, like now, but players could get more if they wanted.

Your second point is the most interesting in my opinion. But how would it concretely work ? Wouldn’t there be a need to revamp the xp reward system ?

I would like to buy old pre-merge squads for silver or xp. I’m missing a few from tiring Tunisia campaign.
