PZIIIJ/1, historically accurate game appreciation post

Finally had a really nice historically accurate game in Moscow, where neither team dominated with SFs and used HA weaponry, making the game more slow, needing to take all kinds of power positions and not just rush the point.

Had some great tank battles, no annoying gray zone campers.

All game both teams battled for the sky, hearing the jericho trumpets was very common (stuka), and seeing an ME109 was common.

Arty/flammers weren’t spammed, used more tactically.

Now for the PZIIIJ/1 appreciation - showing that we dont need no F2, just some experienced crew.

Was always at the frontline with my infantry, supporting them, and they protected me. Ran into a T-34 (1941) and showed why F2 isnt really necessary, you just need to aim your shots well and use your brain a little bit.

After he missed my critical tank parts, i knew i can exploit his long reload and bad visibility by going behind a house and faking him, making him think i am gonna flank him. Then because again he has bad visibility doesnt realize in time i am not flanking, which allows me to put a well aimed shot at his side fuel tank, detonating it.

Here is a short video of the fight:

Took a few pictures from the replay and my adventures of a really fun and good match. Thank you tryhards for not invading this match with MKB/AVS/Federovs

Supporting the infantry:

Spotted a tank:

Tanking the shot:

Ammo detonation:

Outflanked by smart enemy infantry, finally knocking me out:

All aces fall:

Damn aces:

Next we have “Squad Leaders” Claus Puchlier adventures:

Hope you enjoyed the pictures:

Hope the game moves towards historical accuracy, because this match has proved to me how good enlisted can still be, when its not total chaos.

If You are a good tankist You can deal whit t34 whit a panzer 3J common!!!

Lol you already said it, no annoying grey zone camper.
With current situation that is full of grey zone camper, your theory is unrealistic.

I can take a gray zone camping T-34 easily and anybody can.

Since hes too busy spamming HE into infantry, you have plenty of time to land a good shot.

You need to assume he is an idiot that doesn’t even notice you.

They all are, because they gray zone camp and dont have enough skill to play differently and smartly

Lol they don’t have enough skill and you think average panzer3j1 player have it?

Ill give you that one, most PZIIIJ/1 operators and pretty much any other tank crews dont really have a lot of experience.

idk what is the point of the post… you managed to kill stupid player in t34 that had his side turned towards you. that is never a problem, killing enemy frontally that is camping from 100-300m is a problem when you are outmatched in gun and armor.
if game wasnt so restrictive for vehicles in map design and gray zones, flanking with lighter tanks would be enjoyable. but when your only option is slugging it frontally, heaviest tank wins.

That tank battle does remind me of the T-34 movie. The screenshots do show the issue of the 76mm T-34’s limited vision with the lack of a dedicated commander view.

Honestly the devs need to standardize ticket bleed and bonus so the attackers can take their time as this is actually a problem in some campaigns like Moscow Soviet.

If the Panzer III J1 could penetrate enemy T34s rather well enough - then we would have a “historically accurate representation” of the vehicle, and since even the Panzer IV F2 bounces on the T34 waay too easily, I really don’t see this being the case.

Your post is completely missing the point.

He was outplayed

I used his long reload time and crappy visibility to trick him into thinking i am flanking him, causing him to expose his side, since he turned his front to where he tought i was going to come out.

Killing a gray zoninh t-34 is a lot easier than one at close range, since gray zoner will be focused on infantry, allowing you to aim an accurate shot.

So no he wasnt stupid

Oh yeah!

Thats literally how the t-34 got knocked out at the end of the battle, by being kinda baited and flanked, like how happened in enlisted here.

Point is - PZIIIJ/1 is an excelent tank which is more than enough to kill a T-34. Just need more skill.

And if you ask me those are some nice pictures

Yeah, but you can pretty much destroy it even with Molotov. Is Molotov excellent thing for destroying Tanks then? I don’t think so.

German panzers in Moscow really arent excellent in comparison to soviets machines there. But you can still like them, just as I do.

Yes it is.

Literally one of the most satisfying and fun ways to kill a tank.

Seeing all the crewmembers who are burning jump out is very satisfying and immersive.

Not everything needs to be esport tryhard, but i know youre the type of guy who has 7 man MKB squad all with explo packs

Yes they are, they have advantages and disatvantages like any tank. They have visibility, and more crew, faster reloads than russian tanks.

Yeah, that’s why I have only pz 38t in my tank line up on moscow xD Because I am playing only with OP stuff

They aren’t in any case. As you said yourself, you have to compensate it with skill.
If there are players with similar skill, PZ III will always struggle against t50 or t34. That’s just reality, it isn’t excellent tank.
