You should be able to replace the soldiers on a premium squad as long as it’s the same type of soldiers (of course outside of the extra engineer and AT gunner). But when you put those replacements on your premium squad, that premium weapon is hard locked to the new soldier’s loadout and for the extra Engineer/AT gunner.

At the very least I’d like to see the option to give said squad’s premium weapon to any new troops inserted into the squad and for the suggestion open up as an option for squads like the akt-40 rifle squad. I’d like to add specialists on there and replace the issued riflemen with a different tally of riflemen so I can have sufficient points to get the perks I need.
