So i just had a round where my Jumbo was 1 shottet by the Puma 2 times, first time im not sure if he had a good angle, but he was not to my side or my back, the second time he shot me from the front.
I didnt think they were capable of that…
If you’re a jumbo player and got one shotted by a puma it was me. But i haven’t touched normandy ever since and i never tried to pen it from the front

Yeah the Jumbo is easy af to kill with any German tank other than the 3N
I honestly don’t like teammates using mostly starter tanks as the slot could’ve been used by players with better tanks but Jumbos deserve to burn even by Puma.

Jumbo mg port can get murdered by any german tank. But Jumbo (or anyAmerican tank with 75mm) can 1 shot Tiger to the side so not like all heavier tanks are immortal

idk if you play war thunder, but you can look at the protection analysis in that game to see that the Puma is more than capable of penetrating the machine gun port. It’s a well known weak spot for jumbos

Even jumbos need to angle armor sometimes. It sounds like he got you through the machine gun port. Take the puma out for a test drive and aim at some ally tanks. You will get an idea of where they will want to flank you at.

yes, it is possible.
pumas and majority of the opponents tanks in normandy can one shot you from the sides above the tracks and slighlty lower from the side armor. as the jumbo ammo are stored there.
unlike to what others are saying, the puma is not able to one shot you from the machinegun.
best thing it can do, is kill one up to three members crew but the driver will survive majority of the time.

Puma and other tank can snipe the barrel , something more usefull than kill crew 
that’s something that you really shouldn’t go for.
majority of the time, the barrel soaks at least 2 to 3 shots in order to fully disable it.
while he can zero on you and one tap you.
that’s why flanking or going for the mg port is better
as disabling the barrel isn’t suitable for all occasions.
Well In mostly occasion try to aim a pixel or flank is
Fire 3 shoot at the barrle but be sure of disable it is better than pray RNG good that the game dont gijin-logick your shoot
Expecially if you use a tank who dont field a 7.5cm and you know the enemy tanker is good and your team is dumb an you CANT let him keep fire

Puma has one of the stronger guns in the game in terms of penetration. and let’s face it, American tanks have poor armor.
Puma dies in HE shell in 1 hit from any side lmao
