PS4 Compatibility and no Aim Assist for Controllers on PC

I am not sure if you know but Enlisted currently only works on PS5 and the latest of Xbox i believe. Some of my friends who owns a PS4 is unable to play with this game, some had to play on PC, but the aim assist does not exist for controller users in PC when you are playing a controller. Which puts him in a massive disadvantage and hes always at the lower end of the Scoreboard.

Any plans for the game to be playable for PS4 and such?

I hate to say it but the game is definitely declining and is losing players fast, making PS4 and such being compatible would draw a significant amount of players in. Not everyone is willing to upgrade to PS5 and is not that rich in general

For my recent performance monitors. This game wont able to run on slow PCs. Especially I dont know what devs done to cause a great single thread demand. This game has eat up one of my R5 5600X’s core. And 5600X is nearly 10x faster than PS4’s single thread.
Also, what they should do is to launch this game on steam. I dont think they have enough resource to make a PS4 compatible versions.
Or, just make more content.
PS: This game now really only target at WT’s players. Not even whole PC’s players.

Yeah PS4 and Xbone aren’t going to be supported
They’re both have too weak of hardware to actually play the game

If they do support it the game will last longer and will draw in a lot of players for sure. Half of my friends is unable to even run the game, both on PC and Console because of these reasons

Then tough shit.
They’ve already said no and no one here wants ULQ brought in just so toasters and old shitty consoles can play.

It wont bring any players. After they install and try it they quit instantly cause those antique systems can run enlisted at 4fps

i mean i have a rtx 3090 128gb and still having poor fps so, i think some optimization would be good

That doesn’t dispute what I said at all.
The optimization that needs to be made is making the game multi-threaded because the performance drops PCs see is the single thread the game using bogging down trying to process too much all at once.

that just sounds like a computer problem… cause iv got like 1/3rd the power in my system and i get 80-100 fps…

what kinda noob these days tries to game on a single threaded CPU :face_with_raised_eyebrow: like if your doing that you should already know why your getting shit performance stats

lol like sure single threaded CPU’s still work great on 2D games and those old top down view games but anything 3D you want a multi-thread CPU with at least 2 cores

If PC can’t access this ‘aim assist’ thing, then I don’t think console peasants should be able to access it either. Make it available to all, or make it unavailable to all. I really don’t think I’d bother with it regardless, but I just believe in that whole ‘equality under the law’ thing and everyone being treated the same.

As for performance, I can comment on that. I use a computer that, to my knowledge, was manufactured in 2011. I purchased it, refurbished, for $200 cash (Canadian) on March 2018. With my limited budget at the time, I bought a GT1030 graphics card. A part of its advertising is its compact size but I solely bought it for the price tag (bought it online from I think Texas or something because all the local prices here in Canada I could find in stores were more expensive) because this old computer is THICC and could easily fit a beast of a graphics card if I could afford one. Granted I find Enlisted runs better with Firefox and Chrome closed (I use both), and my framerate does dip to 15 FPS every now and then (though I think it’s usually due to forgetting to close those aforementioned programs), but generally it remains pretty solidly at 30+.

I very much enjoy long-range (150m+ but preferably over 200m) shooting, and with lag, that’s basically impossible. As it stands, I can still pretty easily snipe with optics at ranges like that, and can even score hits with irons at ranges like that as well, so perhaps that will stand testament to my claims that my potato computer can run this game decently well. Can’t remember all the specs of my computer, I think it’s 8GB ram and 2.0ghz of some such-and-such a thing. I did buy this computer with the specs in mind but it’s been so long since I bought it, I’ve forgotten the techno-jargon I had managed to memorize. All I know is this computer can play any game thus far that I’ve wanted to play, including Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, Far Cry 5, and um… yeah I don’t really play new games all that often. Used to play loads of STALKER: Call of Pripyat.

Oh, I CAN state, though, that when I first downloaded this game I found it ran horribly and thought it sucked. In fact when I accidentally accessed chat that one time, I literally said “Wow this sucks” or something. I think the fact that I can’t accidentally access chat anymore is possibly because I’ve been somehow banned from it for saying something negative. ANYHOW, I later realized that the graphics were set on high or something. I set the graphics all on low, and so yeah, I can play. I find my computer either goes one way or the other; I can manage to play with everything set to max (like with Oblivion) or I need to scale things down to low if I want it to be playable. I’m fine with low graphics as long as it means smooth gameplay, and yeah, Enlisted tends to play smoothly for me.

Found the info on my computer.

i5-2400 CPU @ 3.1 GHz
8 GB RAM
64-bit operating system (I don’t think that’s particularly relevant though)

So yeah, if I can play the game smoothly with my potato and my cheap card with the settings set to minimum then the computer being used that struggles with it must be lacking in some way. The GHz too low, and/or the ram, perhaps needs a graphics card, whatever. My budget PC from 2018 can run it just fine. I even told the guy that $200 was all I had budgeted, but noticed the computer was $200+tax so started to look at some of the smaller ones that was a bit cheaper. He asked if I was paying with credit card, I told him cash, and so he said “Deal, forget the taxes,” and I gave him the money. He even tossed in the cable necessary for me to connect it to HDMI. All I needed after that was a wireless internet adapter since the computer wasn’t built to accept wireless internet, and I was golden! Weird flex, but I’m flexin’. I’m flexin’ my potato.

You completely misunderstood what was written.
The game uses only one thread
Regardless of how many cores and threads your CPU has
That one thread the game uses can get bogged down by both shit happening and your CPU’s single core performance overall
