Protip: cook your explosion pack

It’s simpler than it seems. I’ve been struggling with enemy tanks, particularly Pumas, escaping from my TNT packs.

If you hold the mouse down, your soldier will automatically throw it after about 5 seconds when the fuse is running out, and it will explode on impact. Just be careful not to stand too close to the explosion.

Yeah that’s been a common tactic but Pumas specifically still like to find ways to survive it.

I’ll even go as far as to suicide-bomb with them sometimes. Same theory as to why every one of my tankers has an explosive pack- revenge killing other tanks.

I just wish molotovs saw more immediate results. I hit Pumas and Panzers with them all the time and never see if it does anything to them.

Yeah molotovs are kinda trash, they’re not great against infantry either unless you come across a blob. Better for area denial than getting kills

TNT pack should be nerfed and Molotovs buffed

Molotovs are great from my experience, they blind tanks fully for few minutes it’s pretty nice (wish they’d Destroy the engine if you throw them at the engine tho

“No”

They damage the engine, but very slowly.

They really shouldn’t. They’re already not a guaranteed 1HKO and you have to get within 10 metres to have a chance of killing tanks, which meanwhile are immune to almost all other types of attack and can rack up dozens of kills, AND can counter TNT by camping at the back. Tanks need a weakness like this.

So fast!

I agree with him that molotovs should be better anti-tank than they are, and TNT is too versatile right now.

Also AT guns are a thing nobody uses anymore.

I’d be in favour of replacing TNT with an AT grenade, Men of War style, that explodes on impact but has a small blast radius.

AT guns are strong but situational. They’re good for popping off one or two tanks, but as the battle moves - or the guy you kill comes back to hunt it - it’s difficult to make them worthwhile.

I would love AT grenades as well, but that leaves the gap of them not existing in Moscow so far as I’m aware. Molotovs should do the trick in that case.

This is strong enough for virtually any part of the Puma, the side of the early Pz IVs, and the top/engine deck of all but the heaviest German tanks
