The dauntless at BR 2 has a very similar explosive payload although slightly smaller,but gets a bunch of 50 cals instead of only 2 weak low caliber MGs,and otherwise quite similar stats

The dauntless actually kind of sucks. Either way thats not a valid justification. I can go through all the insane germany planes are low br. Germany also gets the 500kg stuka in br 2.
Thats the difference yes…and its still not enough to make it a better pick. Only rookies look at “o0o bigger payload = better”
The D-5 has cannons, and can drop bombs 3 times on 3 different targets. The D-3 has MGs and can drop 2 times on 2 different targets. Its also a crap plane in “every” other category for anything else “other than dive boming”.
BR 2 Dauntless and BR 2 Su-2, while having a slightly smaller payload, can actually turn fight and do more than just a CAS strike.

That stuka is less effective then the dauntless because of having only one bomb and a terrible MG armament,and has around the stats of the dauntless
RMN-50 is BR3 and is far better at killing inf while Fliegerfaust sucks at everything.

Boohoo. U.S. has nothing in comparison to germany planes till BR 3. Yes, U.S. has spitfire, purely only for dog fights and then the dauntless which sucks. Germany has iar, the single most under tiered piece of equipment in game. The potez, the stukas, the c202

The stukas are really the only thing worth using other then the IAR,the potez just plain sucks,and the c202 doesn’t have any bombs.
I think you forget the P38 exists,it has a good gun armament,good rockets that can take out any BR3 and less tank.
Talking about bomb loads obviously. The m8 rockets got nerfed pretty significantly. I use potez all the time. The bombs are actually really strong. Believe more than the 250s. And c202 is more or less an equivalent of spitfire which also has no bombs
They still wipe infantry quite easily,and I often find myself lilled by M8s in tanks.bombs arent always the better option.and the 200kgs on the potez always seem to do nothing for me,so you must be getting crazy luck to be doing better with those then a 250kg.and the c202 only has 2 12.7mms and a single 20mm,while the spitfire has 4 20mms and quite a good amount of ammo
Yes. It breaks my heart. This plane isnt just iconic, Its legendary.
Its flight model badly needs updating to the current warthunder one. It should perform far better than a BF 110 but in enlisted the opposite is true.

Thats the point though, if you want to use a plane with bombs you’re only option is dauntless in low br.
Thats for bombers,but you have the P51C,hurricane mk2,buffalo,and seagull (i know its bad but its still a bomber) which can still bomb pretty well if you know what you’re doing
Okay hurricane. But the rest is just a joke with 100lb/60kg bombs.

I dont know. You can do the exact same with the RMN in terms of target groupd and it is still better at it for being at BR3.
While Fliegerfaust got nerfed to the point it requires you to directly hit infantry with it to damage them, let alone kill them. AA Performance is also bad. People kill more planes with ATRs than with the Faust.
I dont see why you cant compare them in terms of effectiveness or “trolling”.

It’s classic GL. But without rifle aspect, with longer reload, and with option to have bigger ammo reserve.
In other words, it is better.
They might be lesser in the CAS payload department at these BRS, but saying they have nothing is way off the mark. The allies have fighters that will defeat everything the Germans can put in the Air without breaking a sweat. SO while their bomb loads are small, (Still capable of removing tanks I might add), they remove enemy planes like they are nothing.
- BR 1Hurricane is deadly, Buffalo is “ok”
- BR 2 Spitfires VC and VB specifically Can just toy with “Anything” they want to. Even BR 5 planes are just fodder for the Spit (Spitfire Mk IX when it comes will be the shit
) - BR 2 Wildcat and p-40e (why soviets got the better one?) are no slouch
- BR 2 P-38 G is super fast, well armed and has those Tank busting rockets. The first spawn bane of Japan
- BR 2 Dauntless has a Big fuck off bomb, and can out fly most German Attacker planes.
No sir, Everyone has access to capable/good planes at something, right from the word go. Japans Plane BRS are messed up a little but thanks to their insane turn rates, they can actually work - even their crappy armed planes.
Having the Best attacker Payload aircraft is great!!..when players refuse to use fighters and you are left alone (thats shame on them)…

There are so many BR adjustments that would be beneficial to the game. I’m still waiting on Sten MkII(s) to be moved to BR 1. They moved the MP 40 silenced down to the same BR as the MP 40, so its only fair the Sten MkII(s) gets the same treatment.
