One thing this game NEEDS is a unit that can enter the grayzone. Someone elsewhere, sorry I did not get their name, suggested that a recon-type of squad be allowed to enter the grayzone for a short period of time before being affected by it.
That’s not a bad idea, but it should be limited in number to the team, as are tanks and planes. So, one per team would by my suggestion as it would be a very powerful unit, in the right hands.
For the US, their M3A1 Scout Car, followed by the M8.
UK: Morris Light Scout Car, followed by Daimler
USSR: BA=27, followed by BA-64.
Germany: Sd Kfz 222, followed by SD Kfz 232
Japan: Type 93, followed by perhaps the Type 97.
All would include their crew/dismounts.
Of course, their freedom to move around the greyzone may not be absolute, such as not being able to approach or enter within a certain distance of spawn areas.
