I agree, I believe that this is still a very prominent issue in game and heavily discourages tank players from being more active in battles.
Hell in some games when I come up against annoying suicidal high level players they’ll chuck like 5+ explosive packs at my tanks in a matter of seconds…

grey zone camping is not a problem at all, people going into the enemy vehicle spawn completely ignoring to play the objective are the problem. In other words all of you folks who yell for the removal of said protected zone only want to do exactly this.
Tanks are supposed to stay behind the infantry and fulfill a support role, which is exactly what the game manages to portray. Grey zones and explosive spam literally promote tanks that stay behind, while punishing tanks that overextend.
Also most campaigns have heavy hand held anti tank weapons now, you can easily snipe tanks a 100m+ distance.
Just add a cap zone for defenders, that they can cap and immediately win a match. I’m so sick of being stuck on defence where the enemy refuses to leave spawn for 30 minutes
Or they could just fix the maps with better spawn points and no usable grayzone
The main issue that I see is that AT mines are so difficult to make use of in majority of the campaigns. Trying to pop down AT mines that would quickly and efficiently deal with tanks are hard to get in a position that tanks will roll over them UNLESS on a street or bridge. The Czech Hedgehogs are supposed to make this easier, but more often than not they’ll just jump out of their tank to take one down and drive right through. If tankers couldn’t remove the Czech Hedgehogs, they’d be forced into AT mines more often, solving the issue altogether. After all, AT mines are destroyed when shot, the tankers would just need to be vigilant and cautious.
