Its an issue in every fps game, but here its bots that do it (well, mostly). Only thing that has to be done about it, is just forbiding them, from walking across squad leader line of fire.

I agree. It annoys me greatly when I’m crouched with a lmg and see my bot slowly crawling right in front of me. I’m certain my bots are trolling me.

they are just trying to give you a check up and make sure you drink plenty of water before battle

Actually, I find that my own bot companions don’t wander in front of my gun nearly as much as they used to. (Wasn’t there a supposed bugfix about that a while ago?).
Of course, bots from other squads are still completely oblivious.
Pretty sure this was “fixed” a while ago in some patch. My bots don’t get in my line of sight. My guess is that some bot spaghetti code made it so they could still on occasions still get in the line of sight of you
My bots still do so. In fact, they were doing so tonight. They were also climbing all over an AA gun I was manning, making it impossible to see the plane I was trying to target. Maybe the bearings just needed lubed and they were trying to help. lol
I had couple of my bots run past me when I was trying to aim. It is also more common in houses, as bots try to find cover and shooting position, but at the same time they ignore that player had already taken their position. One bot was even aiming his gun throu my line of sight, so I could see whats on my head level. They also often do it when you mount things.
But you say that devs are doing something in that direction, so if thats only bug, then perhaps they will be able to repair it sooner than later.
poor bots, they are just curious of what are you looking at standing there… my dog does the same

One time i switch to one of them and him look at the sky

Or other squad leaders. I’ve had more issues with the bots of teammates than my own.
