Agree, Thompson 100 and Krieghoff should became TT weapons and thus unlocking option to change primary weapons for those para squad.
Krieghoff would work be nice because it starts in full auto. Thompson 100 would also be much better than thompson 50. Maybe even event squads should get option to change their guns. I would prefer to not use the 100 round vickers as i dont play br5
If only veterans have it, newbies have nothing to counter with it. This makes the balance even worse

As for those saying they’re op… No other class received as many unwarranted nerfs as paratroopers did.
It now takes about twice as much time reaching drop zone with paratroopers than with regular infantry from a rally point.

Wrong. Grey zone is very restricting, the safe places to drop without getting preemptively shot in the air… are the same zones regular infantry spawn from.
And paratroopers fall so… sloooooooooowly now, they’re easy picking for anyone with basic awareness.
Indeed, those who whined they were too strong, simply have no situational awareness.
To be fair their previous falling speed was ridiculous.
Though I’m biased as overall I dislike how paras were implemented.
First falling speed was indeed too fast.
The first speed nerf made falling speed acceptable.
But. It got nerfed again, now it’s as fast as a falling tree leaf…
I think they should add a Research Paratrooper squad(s) for all factions. I feel Premium/ event content shouldn’t strictly be unique things.
I view that basic research should have pretty much one of everything, for example flame tanks or rocket artillery vehicles. That way it increases that dynamic in common gameplay because more people will have access to the same kind of toys.I only ever rarely see the Panzerwerfer 42.
So you have your basic research things, and then you can still have Premium content. They could give 5 different flamethrower vehicles as premium but basic should have at least 1
I disagree with restricting what weapon which Paratrooper uses. I find it’s redundant. Just blankly make it so Paratroopers can use rifles, SMGs, and assault rifles like those Soviet Paratroopers
You don’t want to see two rocket tanks or flamethrowers doing gray zone camping or suicide attacks when your teammates are all monkeys who are not equipped with anti-tank weapons.
Not necessary. Enlisted requires less money from players than many other games.
The problem is that developers themselves do not want to earn money.

Gilt, to your point if that is the case they should make paratroopers accessible but only at the end of the tech tree….they are truly an “elite”class. i’d take it; at least it’s something.
The argument against this is that the allied and Japanese have lower tier paratroopers and the Germans and Soviets don’t.

I dont understand this at all; about 85% of the time I last multiple minutes; even as emergency AT paradrop vast majority of time im running around dropping AT mines since they come wiht the AT package.
I dont understand how some one can say theyre bad.
Worst theyre a ground spawn 6 man assaulter squad which is already above rate for assaulters (premiums and regs get 4-5 ARs)
Like theyre meta to me and my friends, the ability to easily set up flank spawns, and rapid AT on demand are priceless.
Im presuming here ppl are used to just dropping on cap brainlessly as before? Like is it a doctrine/ skill issue?
To be fair if they release like 3 or so tree paratroopers then we would just use them as 3 different loadouts, you have your first squad with rifles, second with SMGs, third with late game assault rifles
Or players can just change their loadouts whenever. With the Soviet Paratroopers sometimes I feel like using assault rifles and sometimes I feel like using rifles. I know it can be a little tedious but I’m just saying
